Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Ooh, it's December 31st, 2011, the last day in December, and also the last day in 2011! If I'm going to get a blog entry done, it's going to be today.
Hmm... I'm kinda tired at the moment though, so I'll just skim through a few points.
Since I last blogged... well, Mai and Jon came back from Paris/Italy! And since then we've had a lot more home-cooked meals and desserts, haha. Exams ended, so Alex came back for a while, and then Christmas happened and our uncle came from Montreal, and now Alex is back with them in Montreal; Alex will be back in a bit, as he starts work in early January, in Mississauga.
Christmas was fine; we went to my uncle's house for dinner, nothing too special. We didn't really exchange gifts this year, except my uncle bought us each a little something something... I got the Logo Board Game, which has been showing up in TV Commercials over the past little while. It's fun, I'm enjoying it. The trivia questions range from really easy to really hard or obscure, so the difficulty really ranges, and that's good. Jon got a neat frying pan, Mai got a bread-box, Vinh got a raincheck for a present, and Duy got a little fantasy figurine. All in all, good Christmas. Didn't do anything for Boxing day, but had a few friends over, and did some custom Magic stuff.
Currently we have a few family friends over (Justin works with my dad and is from California, and he and his family (wife + 4 kids) are staying with us for about a week.) Two days ago on the 29th, Duy, Vinh, the girl from the family, and I, we went to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra at the ACC. It was a great show.
Now it's December 31st... we really don't do that much for New Years, probably just gonna stay at home, watch the countdown on TV, maybe get some Bailey's or Soho and drink some of that =)
Anyway, it's still morning, so maybe I'll reblog again later, but probably not. In any case, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
