Youtube Favourites
Okay, so instead of only putting this on Wave, I'm going to blog about it, so it's more semi-permanent and... stuff. Anyway, I did this once a while ago, where I sifted through my recent Youtube favourites and posted them here, and gave a little description as to why I put them in my favourites and things like that. I guess I'll just choose about a dozen from my most recent for now... (in mostly reverse chronological order)

This is a video by Natalie Tran, aka "communitychannel". I subscribed to this a long time ago but didn't really watch that many videos of her, and then recently one of my other subscriptions referenced her in a video, so I came back to check her out and noticed I was already subscribed, and.... yeah. So usually she just talks about stuff or makes up her own weird skit situations, and this video is just like that, but I actually really like it. It's 4 minutes long, but only the first 2 minutes are interesting.
In this video, Natalie talks about Fireworks. It's fun to hear her talk about fireworks, and that is why this is in my favourites.
Also in my recent favourites list is another Natalie video, where she fictionally breaks up with Iron Man. She even has a guy with a full Iron Man constume, so that's pretty cool.

This is a video by Philip De Franco, or "sxephil". I subscribed to this waaaay long ago. He makes almost-daily videos where he discusses current things such as interesting News events or random idiots on the internet. Since he does this almost daily, it's a fun thing to watch on a daily-basis, or maybe once a week where you just watch all five things he did that week. His talking style is interesting and he does that thing where he cuts the video so he never pauses to breathe and it all flows together pretty franticly.
To be honest, I favourited this video for just the first ~30 seconds.... or I think there was something interesting in the middle of the clip too, but yeah... sometimes I favourite things because they're interesting, sometimes because it's a bookmark. Sure, you can watch the whole thing and see if you enjoy this type of "podcast-ish show" and then you can spend a bunch of time watching him talk about things.
I also have another one of his videos in my favourites' list too.

This is a 2-minute video of cgi-cows doing freaky stuff to freaky music. I was linked to it, and thought it was sorta neat. Not amazing, just sorta neat. And since I will probably not ever find it again, I bookmarked it just in case. Also, music is kinda neat.

I like the Old Spice things. Unfortunately, this is not the real guy, it's the fake guy. But he's in a mashup with Will it Blend! So this is a one-of-a-kind video, so... yeah, I favourited it.

This is another "The Guild" music video (similar to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urNyg1ftMIU ), but this time in a Bollywood style. Isaque sent me the link, and I quickly added it to my favourites.
So far, I've seen The Guild Season 3 and Season 4 (on my xbox, in high-def), and it's pretty enjoyable. Each season is 12 episodes of 4-8 minutes each episode.
If you're a geek or nerd or love gaming in general, especially MMOs, and/or if you like Bollywood music videos (or find them funny), you should totally enjoy this video. On the youtube, it has subtitles so I think it's more enjoyable =D

Lol, hahaha. Right now, just before I typed this sentence, I added
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ahGSPJ5OSI
to my favourites. It's also from "watchtheguild". It's an auto-tune remix of The Guild Season3 Recap, and I love it. Also, they remixed the Guild theme song at the end, it's awesome.

Okay, I just added another one. So from the above, the "autotune" is actually a channel... so I favourited a song featuring Mr T. as the Nightelf Mohawk and Mario and some Grand Theft Auto thing. I love the part when the guys say
guy A: Don't judge a book by its cover!
guy B: When a book is called "No Pants", I don't have to read it.

So the big-small new computer game that people have been talking about on the internet nowadays is "Minecraft", a ~$10 game in its alpha stages, where you are a guy, and you break apart trees to make wood, and you use wood to make sticks, and then you use sticks and stone to make shovels and weapons and long story short, supposedly you can make a lot of things, and then you make a house and live in it and stuff. Also, there are these creeper monsters, like zombies, that can kill you. Anyway, I don't play the game, but I can still tell you what's funny.
So I have three recent favourites which are minecraft videos, two of which are these ones:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnjSWPxJxNs - This guy shows you a tutorial to make a fireplace in your house, with... mixed results.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF9xMNuAfwE - This guy is doing usual stuff... with mixed results.

Short, 20 second clip of a Spiderman videogame. Very funny.
10////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjmQw3JaTsE
If I were Isaque, I would link you to this short 30 second WTF anime/commercial kinda video.
(It's in a series, although I haven't watched all of them yet)

NASA has created a realistic simulation of how astronauts work on the moon. Apparently I hear the game is fun and available for free on Steam, but I haven't tried it. It looks pretty bad in my opinion, but in this video the background music is pretty damn funny, along with the talking and makes the game look like a joke, haha. Also it seems to be a multiplayer game, that makes it so hilarious. ~1:40-1:50, pure jokes.
(for Duy and David and etc, last time when you were doing the Sporcle stuff, this is one of the songs you've heard but we still don't know where it's from)
12////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUaKxFjlOpw
It's just the song from that Robot Unicorn Attack. =D
13////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPsn2jC_Rvs
Do you like Sailor Moon? These are just the different transformations for all the Sailor Scouts, in both the anime AND the live action =D
14////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuhcDXyGrEI
Conan O' Brien answers questions from his viewers. In this episode, Conan makes a sandwich.
15////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1StCGhmjvI
Ray linked us to this video in the wave, it's how Street Fighter would look like in 3D on an iPad. Pretty neat stuff.
16////////////
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXYKNjHjdcM
Lastly, for now, is a 1-minute IKEA commercial where they let a hundred cats roam through the store at night. You can also watch the "behind the scenes" video if you like.Labels: youtube
