Bang Bang, Pizza Pizza
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy New Decade! Happy Palindrome Day (a week ago, 01022010). Now that that's out of the way... blog entry!
Since I last blogged, I went to Montreal, for a very fun-filled time. Brought the Wii and played NSMBWii with the cousins, also had multiple Magic drafts and many multiplayer games with and without planechase. Also played a card game called Munchkin. I just ordered a few sets online, it should be here sometime before March. Also, Mai came for a surprise Visit! It was a very pleasant surprise.
New Years was a lot of Smash Bros 64 with Jia and Ambrose. Richard Cao also came over one day. Next day, went to Wild Wings, had awesome wings. Then a fun day of gaming, Blaz Blue with Jia and Eric Lei, also Halo with Alan, Eric Lei, and Alex. There's a Halo video now on Facebook and Youtube, Smash videos will be on Youtube in a few weeks. Wild Wings and other pictures will be on Facebook in a while... probably a few days after the second or third Winterlicious event. Anyway... now the rest of the blog entry. The part with the titles.
BANG!
Yesterday (Saturday) was a very successful day, better than expected. Rewind to Thursday night; we had no idea what was happening this weekend, except that we were busy on Sunday. Friday morning, Ricky messages me and tells me he got Bang and is looking forward to playing it with us, so plans started arising to make Saturday a game day. And that it was. Ricky, John (Ricky's brother), Mike (John's friend), Alan, Alex, David, Ambrose, Isaque, Samia (Isaque's wife), and eventually Eric, all came out and we had tons of fun, playing card game Bang (with expansion packs), card game Monopoly Deal, and eventually a much needed 8-player Halo night. Haven't had an 7+ Halo player night in over a year.
Thanks to all of you for a great day of fun. Not very productive overall, but then again, what are weekends for? :P That said, Ricky just bought another game called Humans!, which I guess is like Zombies!... and I bought Munchkin, although it won't arrive for a few weeks. Someone get Guillotine and some other games, and then we'll have another fun day.
PIZZAS
I'm getting addicted to Pizzas. Well, not exactly, but now I'm looking forward to weekends to have more pizza. Random Raviloi Night, in terms of toppings, was a success (dough, not so much). But recently I learned of the amazingness of customization of pizzas from PizzaPizza. There are soooo many different variations of pizzas we can have, and ... wow. Just wow. David, you missed random Pizza night, and it was amazing. You would've loved it. Here are a few pictures:

This picture looks awesome; probably one of the more normal pizzas. Steak strips all around, chicken all around, and one side Zucchini and the other Roasted Peppers.

This picture looks pretty normal as well... I forget what it was, but it's obviously ground beef, pineapple, I think chicken, and bbq sauce... on top. Looks great though.

This picture looks like something out of http://thisiswhyyourefat.com, but it's actually not bad. Pesto all around, I'm guessing bacon somewhere, italian sausage somewhere, sundried tomatoes too, and some other stuff.

And lastly, the 4 pizzas we had yesterday. Top left is standard Hawaiian (created by John and Mike). Bottom left is Ricky's and Alex's creation, which is Multigrain dough, chicken, and a bunch of vegetables here and there. Good stuff.
Bottom right is my pizza... I'm not sure what I clicked on, haha. Basically, it's BBQ Sauce, with sauce on top, and then with EXTRA sauce on top, which I guess is classic tomato sauce. There's things like chicken and pineapple and bacon strips somewhere below all that. Overall, other than the extra sauce, it wasn't bad. The sauce can be used for dipping!
Lastly, is the top right pizza, which is Ambrose's pizza. The base has a Sweet Chili Thai sauce instead of the standard sauce. The top right half is like, spinach and italian sausage and things. The bottom left half though... first, the pizza uses a four-cheese-blend instead of the standard mozzarella. Then that side contains provologne, Feta cheese, and goat cheese. That's right. The bottom side is sweet chili thai sauce and 7 cheeses.
IT WAS AMAZING. Duy took a slice of that and then I just took one bite of that slice nad it was DELICIOUS. The Sweet Chili Thai and the goat cheese really add to it. Next time I'm getting a pizza, I'll probably try having no base-cheese, and then Sweet Chili Thai sauce and goat cheese all around... and then I'll put some interesting meats and vegetables around on different halves. But goat cheese... wow. And Sweet Chili Thai sauce instead of classic tomato or bbq... adds an aweome zesty kick. Pesto would be okay too.
But no, I would not be wasting money to try None Pizza with Left Beef. But I will try a cheese-less base... replaced with goat cheese.
Anyway, that's it! Winterlicious is coming up, but I guess everyone who reads this has seen those e-mails. Oh! Also, if you like webcomics, check out my other blog. I'm currently posting my top 30 comics from SMBC. Check them out :)Labels: bang pizza
