Ravi-LOLI - The Aftermath; and Christmas Plans
So, our random Raviloli night has come and gone. The verdict? Well, mixed, I guess. Surprisingly, the worst thing was actually the ravioli dough itself; basically tasted like nothing and overall it wasn't satisfying. They were just pockets you had to eat to get to the middle of the ravioli, where the surprise should lie.
Surprisingly, the random toppings were not the worst part! Well... there were some pretty questionable ones. But you all were there so I don't really have to go through them.
Anyway, since that Sunday night, I did eat, maybe, 12 more raviolis, spread over several days. Yesterday I had 2 for snack after work, and then during dinner I would usually pile on a spoonful of the pork/pear medley (which is delicious), along with some real meat and rice, along with 2 or 3 ravioli pieces. I would microwave the bowl and everything would be nice and hot and delicious.
I've had basic ones, like the mashed potato one, and I had my Hungry-man riblet one, which was delicious. Also had two sushi ones, which weren't bad. I also had Ambrose's fake sausage inside some sauce.
BUT yesterday, at dinnertime, I bit into a ravioli and I got this realllly weird sensation. I bit into something kinda slimy and I had no idea what it was for about 30 seconds. WHAT IS THIS? It tastes... somewhat sweet. It threw me far off guard because the rest of the bowl was pasta-ish and meat-ish, and now I bit into this dessert-like ravioli. Did Ambrose make one with strawberry jam? No... and then it hit me.
I bit into Duy's Yoghurt Ravioli.
It was such a weird sensation... don't forget the yoghurt was warm. I gave Duy the other half and it was pretty funny. Finally, we bit into something that wasn't so regular as meat and potatoes. (Then again, I wasn't there when Ambrose bit into his own Eggnog ravioli).
I wonder what dinner time will bring us tonight... chances are we're going out, if my predictions are correct.

Christmas Plans are as follows:
24th: Jia has been back in town since yesterday, and will be until Sunday, I think. Might see him today? Maybe watch Avatar.
25th: Morning - Drive to Montreal with rest of family to visit the cousins.
26th: Still in Montreal
27th: Still in Montreal
28th: Still in Montreal
29th: Drive back home
30th: Was originally planning to drive to Waterloo with Ricky, to visit Wen and buy Archery Equipment, but turns out Wen is in Toronto for Christmas, so not sure what's happening today
31st: Might actually go to Work for the morning. New plan is to go to Toronto with Ricky at night and visit Wen and do the Countdown thing.
Anyway, that's it. Anybody else wanna do stuff tonight? I doubt we'll be too busy, Montreal for a few days is just a backpack of clothes and maybe some magic boosters. Also, if anyone wants to suggest stuff for the 30th and other days you're welcome to do so. Ooh, also I bought a few Christmas gifts for some of you, but they might not have arrived yet. That reminds me, I think I bought Wen a Firefly-inspired-gift last year but I didn't give it to him yet :P
Until we see each other again, may your next ravioli bite include chocolate and cheese.
Merry Christmas!
