Void Monday, Camping, and Partying
Today was a... non-great Monday. Before anyone starts worrying, nothing really bad happened; just a lot of good stuff didn't happen. This will be over in two paragraphs, then we can discuss the rest of the entry.
First, one of my friends (from Len Duong, the leadership camp we went to) was visiting her relatives in Toronto from Calgary, and she was going back tonight, so I made last minute plans to meet with her (and some other people in our group) for lunch. Her phone died, and she responded in the morning that she was seeing more of her relatives and she couldn't make it :( So I woke up early to go to Toronto, but didn't, so... yeah. Too bad.
Secondly, I was supposed to go play poker tonight with some guys at the office (WinMagic), but the guy in charge was out of town so I guess it didn't happen. So, I spent the morning planning for the Sushi lunch that didn't happen, and then I played a few hours of Fallout 3, and then took a long nap. Overall, pretty uneventful day.
A paragraph for Fallout 3: I beat it. I beat it last week around Thursday, at about 30 hours. Sidequests are a little less meaningful now, but I'm trying them out. I also tried being evil, but it's not as interesting. Anyway, I'm at about 32 hours now doing some sidequests and exploring randomly.
Anyway, a few hours ago I got a weird facebook message regarding the Song Viet camp. As you all know, Song Viet is a Vietnamese camping trip we go to every year... anyway, long story short, the message said that there were some booking mishaps at the campsite, and now they can't get the campsite they wanted, but instead they have a different smaller campsite or something... and I'm not really sure, but it said something how it was more casual, and I also think that they don't have enough people yet, so they asked us to invite our non-Viet friends =)
So... I am now inviting you guys to go camping with us! We promise it won't be very Vietnamese, but instead it'll just be camping with friends. We're good friends with the people there so we'll introduce you to them :P
Cost is $25 per person. I think we have a person in our group providing food for us, and I think we have a 6-person tent, although 4-people would be comfortable :D So we have 3 people so far, maybe one of you guys want to come?
Here's the informational poster. Duy will drive us.

And... one more thing. Eric is on a cruise right now, but when he gets back he wants us to have a party because he has a girl that plays Smash bros... so I'm going to have a party! Friday, August 7th, because apparently Eric can't do Saturdays. I'll make a facebook event in a couple days. So... that's it!
To summarize: Today I had a non-productive day, I beat Fallout 3, we're going camping and we want you to join us, and I'm having a party at the end of next week.
