Right4Life, Found, 48, and nutritions
Okay, it's Friday, January 23rd, 12:11am. I guess it's really Saturday the 24th then. I just spent about 3 hours playing a Tower-Defense kinda flash game... for some reason they're really addicting! It's like, you build a tower, and then for a fraction of the price, you upgrade it, and as your towers get stronger, your enemies get stronger and more abundant, but so does the money that they drop, and for some reason, all this upgrading and then more enemies and whatever... it's addicting. Anyway, I stopped "playing" 20 minutes ago to see if my defenses can play the game without my input... and so far so good.
But I digress. It's 12:14 now, and I'll probably watch Conan tonight so I won't finish this update until waay later... I gotta get off this computer too, too much Tower Defense. Usually I would HTML code that so you can link to it, but nah. This time I'll just recommend Firefox, and the Linkification extension which turns HTML links into... links... I also use TTI (Text-to-Image), GameFOX, some video-downloader thing, and not4changrab. Oh, I also have screengrab, but I don't use it too often.
Hmm... I just wrote some stuff, like a real blogging person, but not the stuff I wanted to write about. I feel like talking about food, particularly lunch, but I guess I'll save that for below. Actually, I might as well talk about that now. If I were to talk about anything else, I would say something about the Magic prerelease, but that's better suited for e-mail; I would talk about Winterlicious, but that's also better suited for e-mail, or I would say, everyone who needs to know anything, would already know, by e-mail.
Actually, both our Winterlicious gatherings are early, that is, next Saturday and the Monday after, so there's plenty of time to do a 3rd, if anyone wants to. I don't particularly want to, although I wouldn't mind going somewhere cheap, haha. Just don't do it on Saturday the 7th, Duy and I have plans then (birthday party, probably at a club in Toronto).
Rented Left4Dead, completed it (with Duy) a few days ago, overall a fun game. At first I thought it was kinda gimmicky or stupid, like the horde of zombies that attack you, it feels like it was a bug or pre-polished part in the game, but it turned out fun so they left it in there. So overall, it was fun. Oh, there was also a VS mode, where you get to play as a zombie, and it was pretty funny. I vomited onto Duy, haha.
HAHAHA, that reminds me, they have community games on XBOX360 now, and there's this Snakes360 game and... well, maybe it was just funny when we first played it, but I can't really say much now, except we have a new 4-player game that rivals N+. No, not really, but we have to play this for at least a few minutes next time 2 people come over. Tomorrow (as in today) maybe?
Heroes over, Criminal Minds, CSIs, 30 Rock are still on... Grissom's gone, Morpheus in... and now, Lost is back and 24 is back. 24 seems okay, a little less exciting than last time, and a few reccurring themes are coming back, but still will watch. Lost also seems a bit less exciting, especially because since its disappearance last year people have been guessing what the island represents, so it's not really surprising when the island IS what people are saying...
Anyway, it's 12:28, I'm tired of typing, my elbows and arms kinda hurt, and I'm gonna go watch Conan now... although to you people, it's just a few linebreaks until the next paragraph...
12:32 - Hahaha! My guy finally died on the tower defense game. I was on level 91 when I "stopped playing" at 11:51, and then I died around 12:29 on level 104. And now I'll be famous, at least for a few more hours... hahaha. Here's the pic:

Conan was great - rerun, haven't seen it, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was on, and she was talking about the emmy's, and talking about Tina Fey, and then they had a skit where Julia ran upstairs to Tina Fey's dressing room and took her Emmy, and Tina Fey came down to Conan's studio (since they're all at 30 Rock(afella)) and... yeah, overall really liked it.
Well, not totally tired yet, so I'll continue blogging, although it's unlikely someone will read this between now and when I wake up tomorrow, assuming that's when I'll update the blog. But I digress, as usual.
Lunch Costs
I just felt like posting this, k? Anyway, every friday, for lunch, we go out to eat. So two weeks ago and 1 week ago, and this week, we went to different places, and we have new prices to announce! So, starting from the bottom:
Swiss Chalet - All you can eat Soup, breadstick, and salad for $7.95. We haven't actually tried this, but Ambrose said he did and he said if you eat enough, you'll get your quarter chicken's worth, since the soup has chicken in it. We were gonna go one day, but... we didn't. Maybe one day? But $7.95... for 50 cents more, you can
Pizza Hut - Lunch Buffet - $8.49 - ... brb, gotta play with the cat... alright, cat looked like he wanted to play, but he didn't really. Anyway, lunch buffet price went up, from $7 to $8.50. At first we were outraged, but looking at this blog entry, it's still very reasonable, for some pizza and pasta and salad and breadsticks and dessert pizza. Next up, we have...
Star Walk - All you can eat Chinese Buffet - $8.80. It's actually $10.99, but Star Walk regularly has discounts, so we went today and it's Winter Special, 20% off, so it's $8.80. Definitely worth it, unless you're in a really westernish, pasta-pizza sorta mood, in which case you go to Pizza Hut.
Applebees - Price increase. The soup/salad lunch special is still $6.99, but the upgraded version went up from $7.99 to $8.99. We were kinda irked about that, so... yeah. I tried their Mac & Cheese, it's actually pretty good, but at the end of the day, it's still Mac & Cheese, no matter how you spin it. We'll probably end up going to Pizza Hut more often, haha, although theoretically it was always cheaper than Applebees...
Haven't been to other places in a while, but I think Mandarin is still $10.99, Maki-Maki was... $11.99-12.99.... but ever since a month ago, ever since we went to Imperial Buffet, I've had a craving for spiced squid!! IT WAS SOO GOOD... blend of spices, one of which is sugar, on the squid... omg. I've been craving it for so long. I needs it, I NEEDS IT... and today we almost went. Star Walk is Dixie and Rathburn, a bit later at Dixie and Bloor is Imperial Buffet. We almost went there, but my dad was in the mood for better quality sushi so we ended up at Star Walk.
ANNNYYHOW.... I reallly wanna go there one day. I needs it.... annyway. That's it. It's 1:50 now, and I'm heading to bed. We should do stuff tomorrow! I have to find out if we're busy with anything, but totally, I want to play Snakes360 with 3 other people. haha.
