Dave and Busters

Whee, what a fun party! Pictures are up on facebook, and most people except Duy, Jia, and Ambrose now have FB so that's pretty good. Anyway, Dave and Buster's worked out very well! It was a lot of fun! I had a bunch of shots, not too much beer (though I chugged the remainder of my corona just before we left, not the greatest idea but it was okay)... didn't get very tipsy though. There were a few times were I thought I would throw up though, but the feeling passed and I turned out okay.

I didn't get as tipsy as last time (at Mai's birthday)... should've had a chocolate martini or two, those would've gotten me more tipsy. But I did try out a bunch of new shots and new drinks in general - jagerbomb*, bazooka joe, B-52, liquid cocaine... I think that's all the new ones I've had. And hello, good old polar bear and krispy krunch, can't go wrong with those.

*(never had jagermeister before, it scared me, now it doesn't :P should probably try tequila one day)

Food was okay! I hear the Chicken fingers were awesome, I had the wings, they weren't bad, kinda saucy but I like sauce, usually. I think the $16.99 for $10 card and entree is a good deal, didn't have it though, shall have it next time. ... that reminds me, people owe me some money.

Games! Games were great. The whole ticket-winning idea that we had at Chuck E. Cheese's is back, and I like it! It makes you feel like you've won something... because you have... ... it's just annoying when a machine has you waiting for a few minutes as it spews out 300 tickets, but maybe that's part of the awesome feeling, haha.

I enjoyed playing games. Things like the rowing game and fun oldies like skee-ball were great, Deal or no Deal was sweetly awesome. I had the top value (1000) in my case but unfortunately I took the deal just before I found out, but still good, still good. Haha. Other arcade games were nice too.

Overall, Dave & Buster's is a great experience for our group. Duy, Isaque, Peter, and Rebecca didn't drink... I don't think Jia drank, but he's the type who would, so that surprised me. Maybe he did but I didn't see it. It's too bad I had it on Good Friday, but next party should be fun. Maybe Jerry's graduation party? Maybe Duy's party? hehe, I doubt it, but that would be cool. Alan and David, you would've enjoyed it. You probably could've gotten away without spending any money, as other people would keep buying rounds of shots.

Anyway, eventually they closed, so we left, with a bunch of prizes, mostly those round jiggly balls and army soldiers, haha. Went back home, and we all went to the TV Room to play Portal. Meredith played through most of it, it was such a cruel but funny experience. We all watched her play and we would cringe and moan every so often when she couldn't find the obvious answer. It was a lot of fun though.

Welcome Meredith, to our group of nerdy geeky friends! Yay, a girl :)

Next morning, Alan came over and we went to breakfast, and then ... stuff... happens... Saturday night, I was supposed to go to the UVSA IGNITE Culture show and after party, but I was bicycle* so I didn't go. Also, cousins from montreal were over, so going to two parties while they're here isn't really fair either. I wish I went to IGNITE though, but oh well.

* - I now have two favourite jokes. The first is "what is brown and sticky?" - " a stick".
The second is "why can't the bicycle stand?" - "because it is two tired."

Lots of people stayed for a while... stuff... happens... let's see, what else is notable..

Peter falls in love with Call of Duty 4 (might buy an xbox360 just for this game)
Meredith falls in love with Portal (might buy an xbox360 just for this game)
Jerry falls in love with little army soldiers and really wants to go to Dave&Busters and/or the dollar store

Oh, and Smash Bros videos! So far I've created two, here they are, please enjoy to your fullest capability:
