Nekogames, Artistics Blogs, and Rocking Drums
First post of 2008! Okay, now back onto regular things. First, the beautiful media things.
Yesterday, Isaque sent me a link to a very novel flash game, located here:
http://www.nekogames.jp/mt/2008/01/cursor10.html
I love the concept. And I think I can recreate the game too... as an exercise, I probably should recreate something similar, before going on to making another game in the same style. I hope you guys enjoy the game too.
Oh, here's a question to some of you - So anyway, Isaque sent me the link yesterday, and for sure it would end up on my blog. Before that though, Isaque sent the link to Wen, or else I would've done so too on msn, because I know he'll like it, or at least find it interesting. I also let Duy and Vinh try it out at home. However, I didn't send it to Ambrose or Ray - not sure if they'd care too much for this. And David... well, he'll find out about it on this blog, and he's unreachable via msn and it's not worth an e-mail, mainly because it would be blogged about anyway.
So... the question is mostly to Ray and Ambrose... are you the type that would like me to send these links to? Clever awesomeness like these? Let me know.
I love this game.
Continuing the Isaque-route, Duy and Isaque have created an art blog! Come visit it here:

Back to the world of videogames, specifically RockBand...
So, sometimes my little bro plays expert guitar, and Mai plays medium microphone, and I play medium drums... Anyway, on my solo time, I've gone through all of medium drums and now have 4-starred all of it... I've started hard drums, hard guitar, and medium voice too. Anyone wanna come over and do some jamming?
On Hard Drums so far, I've been playing pretty... badly. I miss a lot of notes on purpose so I can get the remainder of the notes well, and so far in the easier levels of hard, I'm getting by, but it's not going to last, or I hope, it won't last, and then I'll have to ramp up my drumming skills.
I do like the opportunity to hit more notes that Hard presents to me that Medium does not. More on that... later.... on the other blog! Time to move down that # click click click post and replace it with a new post...
As for drumming itself... most of it is... well... very repetitive. It's still fun, but it does feel a bit repetitive because you're mainly just keeping a beat. And in a multiplayer-band, well... drumming is important, so you feel... important... sentence ending soon... it's like how every party needs a healer, and even if you don't like healing, you still have to do it, it's your job, and there is some satisfaction in that. Sentence over now!
As for difficulty of drumming, it doesn't really get much more difficult as you get to the later songs... it does a bit, but not really.
Drumming is hard, because of that damn foot pedal.
Resolutions
Well, I don't really have any resolutions, except maybe:
Buy less, or, buy less things you don't need, or don't buy anything you won't use
which brings me to my short term resolution, which is
by end of February, watch/play everything I bought during the Christmas period, or if part of a series, watch at least one episode. That means I have to:
watch Bandidas, Shooter, Iron Man Animated, Van Wilder Rise of Taj... watch a few episodes of some animes... play Rumble Roses XX... well, that doesn't sound like too much. I just gotta do it, that's all.
Hmm... this post was shorter than I thought it would be.
