Food Stuffs, FF7 Miku, and Rockband: Triple Self Project

I keep forgetting to mention the awesome character creation options in Rock Band; it's so freakin' sweet! Well, I think so. All the clothes you can buy, with color options, and then a tattoo interface similar to that of Forza, but with many more pre-made tattoos. Anyway, that's all about that.

Food Stuffs

I didn't mention Winterlicious last time, but yes, we are going to Winterlicious. Ray and Ambrose reserved seats for Sunday the 27th and Sunday the 3rd, for Truffles and Canoe respectively. Things are a bit tentative now, since we might be doing some vacationing around the 27th, or we might be back in Toronto the afternoon of the 27th so we'll still be there for the 27th. The question is, are there any other outings we want to do? Maybe something cheap, like a $15 lunch or a $25 dinner for the rest of us, on some obscure weekday?

At first I wanted to say yes, but everyone nowadays is busy on weekday lunches, so perhaps maybe a weekday dinner sometime? Not sure, things are up in the air. Last time a few of us casually went to Fred's Not Here, and I don't think early reservations were needed, so we still have lots of time to plan for something like this. David has more money nowadays, so perhaps he'll want to go and pay for himself? Here is the menu:

On another note, yesterday I went to a pub/restaurant with my sis and a friend, and I once again enjoyed some Strawberry Beer. It was great - I always say, I think it's more strawberry than beer. I then wanted some Apricot beer but they were all out, so the waitress brought out some Raspberry beer but I didn't want it this time... instead I went with a Cherry beer and it was pretty good too! Tasted a bit like Capri-sun, the cherry (red) flavour.

Speaking of fruity drinks, do you guys remember that fruity drink I kept buying in Waterloo? Or was it before you guys came? From the Math Building cafe, they always had these fruity drinks, like a strawberry drink or apricot drink, and it was expensive but it was the fruitiest drink I've ever had, so full of fruit. They probably went extinct because they were so expensive, but they were ohhh sooo goood. I really want some now.

FF7 Miku

Remember the Megaman 3 Vocaloid-enhanced youtube I linked you guys to a few entries ago? Well, so I downloaded vocaloid and played around with it, but rather unsuccessfully. But, here is something I made and I hope you guys at least listen to it once, and some of you might actually find it beautiful! It's the Final Fantasy 7 battle theme, slowed down a bit. I couldn't find out how to get the voices to "la-la" and right now I just have "a-a", which sounds pretty bad but still kinda cute. Don't stop listening right away, it gets better as there are more voices and more harmonic-togetherness:

Rock Band: Triple Self Project

My first Rock Band YouTube video! And it's not just a regular video, but a video project. From the title you can probably already guess what it's about. I filmed it on Sunday... Duy, Vinh, and Mai helped, and the results were better than expected. It's gotten both laughs and good reviews from my siblings and some friends so far. We hope you enjoy it!

(Also, note that I have replaced some links at the top of my blog; you can now access my youtube videos from there too)

And that's it for today! Oh, and last time I was in the states I bought a Calendar with a bunch of quotes from George Bush, and I'll leave you tonight with the Monday January 14th quote:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." - Washington, DC; August 5, 2004
