This... Is...
I haven't blogged in a while... mostly due to lack of motivation to blog, and the usual reason, lack of things to blog about, although I can probably always type something for you to read. So some of this is random, some of this is relevant... so....
Okay, first of all, the update that I was going to post on Saturday, before the party:

Long time no StrongBad. On Friday, I decided to visit it again, watch a few e-mails and Teen Girl Squads. I watched about 6 e-mails, and I'm at work so I can't list them all or recommend them all, but I highly recommend "webcomic"... diorama was okay, "movies" I think was okay... and some more, etc.
Saturday Afternoon, went shopping at the Supermarket... had a list of things to get, and, just like how Jerry Seinfeld described it, I went in with a sense of purpose, and after a few minutes, I was lost :( so confused...
Anyway, Saturday Night, we had the Winmagic Christmas party, and it was wonderful! A bunch of people came, it wasn't too crowded, and we had a great time. My sister's great at mixing and preparing drinks, we had a few drinks, not too many, I don't think anyone got drunk, and afterwards my dad hosted a poker game and I won.
On Sunday, I prepared a video, which I shared to most of the company, and they all loved it! And now, I will share it to you too... the people in the office got the high-res version, you guys get the low-res version so you can download it better:
http://www.baomon.com/blog/sparta.wmv - 6mb (2.5 minutes)
I took footage and photos from the party, and the soundtrack to the "300" Trailer, and... voila! This was the result, and everyone in the office loved it. The younger folks, those more evident in the video and that knew "300" more, loved it more. They're addicted to it!
Unfortunately for you, you are not them. For "them", it's probably the first time they've seen a video production of mine, with all the neat special effects you can do in Premiere and Photoshop; no, not you, you guys have seen my works before. And of course, you guys aren't in the video, and you don't really know the people in the video. Some of you might've seen Paolo before at the Halo party, but other than that, you guys don't know them. However, some of you guys might like it more than the older folks, since you guys are more familiar with "300".
But in any case, this is a single-day project, which I think is really wicked. I love my single-day / single-weekend works. Enjoy!
Ray suggests we have a party / get-together to discuss Winterlicious 2008. I agree! I'm not sure when yet. We're seeing AVP2:Requiem on Christmas Day, right? Not sure if that's a good day for a party. But in any case, we have a lot of drinks leftover. My sister makes a good polar bear, I can probably do it too, man, I love polar bears. We should definitely have a party, have some drinks, play some games, good times, good times.
I had a dream recently, but I won't post much about it... but it involved killing people and escaping in hyperspace and stuff... and it turns out the main villain was upset because of all the guns around. I mean, everyone is selling guns to everyone and now everyone is just concerned about guns. The main villain went to Japan to see some of historic Japan and Samurai and anime and robots, but all he saw were people concerned about guns and the latest weaponry. So he's upset because Japan has lost all its culture. So he wanted to get revenge.
Lately, or for a long time, every now and then I forget words, specific words, and then I think about it for a long time, and eventually it becomes a game and I message other people on msn and have them try to guess it. A while ago I forgot "prestigious", "boycott", "nostalgia"... and now the newest one, Isaque got it right away, and it went something like this:
Let's pretend there's an amateur cop and his senior partner, and the amateur cop gets in a shooting fight with a bad guy and the cop tries to count the bad guy's bullets. So, he counts 12 bullets in the clip, but he always forgets the 1 bullet in the _______.
It's not clip/casing/chassis/barrel/shaft. Good luck!
I love gmail, and the RSS feeds it gives me, especially from Reuters: Oddly Enough. I love those stories! I recently read a story about how a kid got a cellphone charged for $85,000, and an AP (real news) story about a blackhole attacking another galaxy with radiation jets. It's interesting. And, I do it at work, as it feels like I'm doing something somewhat professional.
I'm so fucking upset right now (last night)! And there's nothing I can do about it except blog about it, so that's what I will do! ARGH!! Apparently I receive e-mails from both tigerdirect.ca and tigerdirect.com, but I thought I only receive e-mails from the relevant one. So lo and behold, I see this cool deal so I add something to my cart, but I know shipping would suck (see previous post) so I started shopping for other things! So I spent the last 2 hours looking for things to buy, and then I'm all happy and stuff... so I have about $200 worth of stuff in my cart... shipping should be about $20... and then I click on 'estimate shipping'... and it's $85! what the fuck? And after a few minutes of removing things from my cart and putting them back, I realize I'm on Tigerdirect.com . ARGH! And then I went to Tigerdirect.ca and they don't have the same things tigerdirect.com has. Like, it still has the one item I want ($5 more though) but it doesn't have any of the other crap that I wanted to buy.... grumblegrumblepie...
I'm in the market for a camcorder now, perhaps an HD camcorder. More on that later.
Burnout Paradise sucks.
I think my dieting efforts are... well, not paying off, but there's one noticeable change; I don't eat as much icecream. Sometimes I come home and I tell myself to eat some icecream; it's time for dessert, I should have some icecream... but then, there's effort required... not just opening the freezer and scooping some out, but also I know that it's bad for me, and... so I don't eat it.
I still eat chocolate and other cakes and all that, but icecream, or some icecream-related-cakes... I don't eat those anymore. I'd still like to buy them though, haha.
Yesterday I was holding the cat and it wanted to go but I didn't let him go so he took out his claws and drew blood out of my right middle finger. I'm wearing a band-aid now.
