New Events at the Docks with DJ Hip Hop!
So, Rock Band is out! ... well, actually it isn't. Not here, anyway. The U.S. got it yesterday, November 20th, but Canada? Canada doesn't get it until December 20th. That sucks. Some say it's because there wasn't enough supply to meet demand, so they decided to let the U.S. get the first batch of products. And some say that they (EA) forgot that they were selling it to Canada, which meant that they forgot to make French instruction manuals, so they need a month to prepare French instruction manuals. How crappy is that?
Oh well. So we'll get it a month later... darn... just before Christmas...
Anyway, as I mentioned before, I see me, us, me and Duy, as a sort of... hub, hub for entertainment, and so do some of you guys... which is okay, it's a role we're playing. We're always open, almost always free on weekends, always having people and playing games. It's our house 90% of the time, and sometimes it's Hawk's house, it used to be Ambrose's house too, and rarely Jia's house... I've been to Ricky's house, like, once... whatever happened to that guy? Well, let's see... he doesn't play Magic, he doesn't really play videogames anymore, he doesn't blog, and he doesn't use msn... so the only way to reach him is by phone, and even then, well... he doesn't play Magic or videogames, and to me, he always has this smirky attitude, somewhat critical and negative toward new things, so I dunno...
Anyway, back on topic. So, 90% of the time, it's our house every weekend. Jia's always free (well, until next month) and he always needs "rescue", so he comes over, and Ambrose always manages to find time to come over. Our house is always open... it's like it's expected of us. I feel that way, which is okay. It's like... I'm a building... a venue... like, the owner of a night club. And on Thursdays and Friday, I'm always looking for more people to come over... it's like those advertisements you hear on the radio that invite you to come to a night club.
"Hey, we're having a great night at The Docks (Bao's house) this weekend, invite all your friends, come! Featuring Musical Guest DJ Hip Hop (Bao), you're guaranteed to have a good time!" - It feels like that every week, just like how a night club is open every weekend, and we're always advertising on the radio. That said...
"Hey everybody, come to The Docks (Bao's House) this Saturday, as we're hosting PARTY OVERLOAD! One day full of gaming, featuring the wicked tracks of DJ Hip Hop (Bao) and the wild antics of MASTER DARBHA, all the way from NC! One weekend only, this Thanksgiving weekend! Also say farewell to SENSEI NINJIA as he embarks on a journey of enlightenment (and $$)! This weekend is not to be missed! Includes possible appearances by TRANCEoMNI, Wenage Zhanger, and WZ's War Buddy!"
