Madness? This - Is - DAR - BHA!
So after writing Alan's biography, Wen asked me what it 'would be like' if I wrote his, so I actually started writing it. I wasn't really focused so it's all ramble and messyness, and then I got sick, and then I wrote an update about the weekend plans, and so long story short... umm, it's not done yet, and I don't feel like updating that one now... so it'll be done later. Might be tomorrow, might be next week, might be some other time in the future. Instead, this update will be a sorta ramble on other things, including the weekend.
So, my last update was on Wednesday, and I got sick on that day so I went home from work early. On Thursday, I was better but still in 'partial recovery mode', and then Vinh had an ice day (so it'd be a-nice day, an-ice day, and when asked what he was doing, he'd say iceday home (I stay home) ), and somehow Duy ended up staying home and I stayed home too. Mai and Jon came over and we went out of Fish and Chips.
Speaking of Jon, his parents have now moved to Texas since his dad works there, so Jon and his sister are living alone in their Mississauga house, so that's pretty cool. Anyway, still Thursday, rented Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark, and we watched it - kinda - everyone except me fell asleep, so I guess I watched it. Friday comes along, I buy Live Free or Die Hard special edition, Ambrose and Jia came over. We go out to eat at Pheonix restaurant. Came back home and we watched Die Hard as a family (minus Vinh).
Why did I buy it? Because I liked the movie, saw it twice in theatres (with different people). I also like Enemy of the State - I think I like both because I seem to like the display of awesome power using global government-grade technology. Sentence over? Maybe. But I do like it, hehe. Anyway, saw the movie, family enjoyed it, good good.
Fast forward into the future a bit, Saturday night at 2:30 AM, Mitch and I started watching Afro Samurai, Mitch fell asleep, Jia and I watched 2 out of 4 episodes. It's not bad. Fast forward to Sunday, Jia and I watched the Futurama "movie" special that was apparently recently released (Rama sent it to my computer).
I'll try to shorten my paragraphs for a bit. Going back to Saturday noonish, Rama came over along with Mitch, and Ambrose came along with Paul. Hawk came as we were leaving. Went out for Vietnamese food, Paul went home, everyone else came over, Ray came, played Smash / DS / FZero GX. Rama went out with friends for dinner, everyone else Pizza and wings.
Later in the night, Ambrose, Mitch, and myself went to Cooper's (pub/bar) to meet up with Rama and friends. I saw Adam Hammill again, met Kingston, Andrew Flood, and Pharaoh, who actually looked like a Pharaoh, with his hair and his yellow/brown scarf. Pharaoh had some interesting stories, hehe, it was a good time. Rama was tipsy. Talked about girls. Learned things. heh.
Went home, Ambrose went home, Mitch stayed over, watched Afro Samurai. Stuff on Sunday was basically watching tv, family guy, simpsons, playing pool, eating college-like leftovers for lunch, playing more videogames, and the usual stuff. Is this the update? So this is the update for Wen, David, and Alan, since they weren't there. That's basically what happened during the weekend.
So what's up with the next few weeks? Hmm...
WinMagic Christmas party - Saturday, December 15th
Mitch is inviting me to someone's end of term party in McMaster, Tuesday December 18th. Anyone wanna tag along? Make me feel less lonely? heh
Alan is tentatively having his birthday party at our place, tentatively Saturday, December 22nd.
AVP 2 around Christmas!
Jia's last week in 'ssauga. Might do stuff with him more this week.. might see Beowulf with him again (his second time, my first time). Maybe Hitman. We'll see.
Blog updates? Umm... nothing too planned, maybe something on social situations, something on Wen, maybe another person, random things.
