Party Report
Hello! What a party! But first, I promised you all a cute kitten video, so here it is!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFrNUirNbME
I compiled this video while my sis was in Frascati, and then posted it on youtube so she could see her cat while she was gone.
Anyway, so last Friday/Saturday we had a party, and boy, it was fun! I think the majority of the party can be summarized with this picture (click on the picture for a bigger version):

So the party was fun; the guest list was pretty much expected, with some people that said they would come that didn't, which I expected... unfortunately, the female attendance was less than stellar, and the booze consumption was also a little on the low side. It felt like we didn't take full advantage of "our parents being out of town." I mean, we didn't have a party like they do in those movies when parents are out of town. But on the bright side, the house ended up pretty clean after everything was done, so there were no complaints from the parents.
Halo 3 - wow. The demand for Halo 3 was much greater than I anticipated. People would sit down and play Halo 3 for hours and hours on end, much like we would do with Smash. I thought people might get bored quickly, but it's such an involving game that people can just sit there and play it over and over. And then the next day, Eric came over and we hooked up two TV's and two Xbox's together so that 8 people can play together, and it was awesome.
I expected that hardcore FPS fans would play, but it turns out nearly everyone played. Ambrose played and Isaque played, not sure if they're big into FPS but they did play. Geoff played, then again, I think he'd play anything, although he's not big on console games. Wen has a certain disposition against Halo 3, or with the marketing/overhypeness of it, but he played too. And Ray, with his ongoing FPS/PC debate, still clocked in about an hours worth of Halo time. Overall, a good time was had by all, and we have fun videos to prove it, haha.
Continuing on, the Infection/Zombie mode in Halo 3 is so wickedly addicting. I would talk about it, but everyone who was there knew what it was, and the only person that pretty much doesn't know about it is David, and I dunno if he'd care enough. The dynamic of that mode is so simple and yet so fun, I love it. The thrill of the hunt balanced with the bonding of teamwork. I love it.
Anyway, with every Halo game comes some processing, that is, taking screenshots and videos. So unfortunately for Wen, whenever there's an epic game of halo, there'll be another link to an epic set of screenshots and videos. That said, here are some Halo 3 screenshots: http://www.baomon.com/blog/halo/index.html . There are some nice glory shots and shots to brag about in there, as well as some neat looking shots, so I recommend checking it out, especially if you're someone like Eric L. or Eric L.
Next, I compiled two videos and put them on YouTube, one of a random zombie game, and and a compilation of shots from the slayer/teamslayer games. Here you go, Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEGcJVBP1FI and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ5Fcex65Gc ...(thanks blue team, for constantly feeding Eric-"41"-Lei more kills)
Lastly, some trivia! After Eric Langlois went home, he sent me a voice message over Xbox Live. Isaque, Issan, and I were listening to it and we couldn't understand what he said! So we replied, he replied, and now we know. But for now, here's some trivia - here's his voice message, and if you can understand it, you win! If you can't, that's okay. Unfortunately for me, I already know the answer, so my brain won't let me interpret the voice any other way... Here you go! (please don't answer the trivia if you're Isaque, Issan, or Eric Langlois)

And that's it for the party and kitten!
