10 day party?
Okay, so as most of you know, my parents are out of town for 10 days! More specifically, on Friday the 28th, at around 4:30 pm, my mom, dad, sister, aunt, and grandma boarded a plane to go to Rome, where they'll be for 10 days. We're having a conference there from the 2nd to the 4th, so they're there also visiting and seeing the sights. They'll be back on Sunday in the early afternoon. With them went a few employees, including our manager, Joseph.
So who's left in 'ssauga? My uncle, his wife, Vinh, Duy, and myself. So in the house, it's just Me, Vinh, Duy, and the 3 animals. I was going to blog about it, but you all already know, that we have a cat now. It's a cute cat. I'm in charge of it, so we let it out of Mai's room a few times a day to play around. This morning I let it run loose around the house, and it somehow ended up in the basement, so I brought it back up to Mai's room and went to work. I'm also in charge of feeding it and taking care of the kitty litter. It's actually much easier than I thought it would be.

So, just the 3 boys at home... is the house a complete mess yet? Well... no, not really. But enough about that. So far, we've relaxed all weekend, nobody really came over except Jia and Ambrose. We went shopping, got a bunch of food (a bunch of food we don't usually get! :P), and we cooked and sometimes went out to eat too. No, the big party is set for next weekend, but it doesn't look so big yet. I'll have to get in touch with more people before it becomes huge... in other news, I found the shot glasses we bought around Christmas time. heehee.
So nothing crazy has happened yet... just stayed up longer, played more videogames, woke up later... kinda... nothing too crazy. Right now I'm at work, still got in around the same time as usual, but will probably leave a bit earlier. Duy also came in around his similar time, which is pretty late, and he'll probably leave when I leave... (un)fortunately, my manager isn't here, so our team doesn't have thaat much work. We still have work, but not too much, and me, I barely have work to do, so I'm here typing this in gmail.
So anyway, yes, party this weekend, not sure what day, probably Saturday for most of you, Friday night for some people who can't make it Saturday, but it's shaping to be Saturday, and it'll look a lot like our regular 'big' get-together, but I'll try to mix in more booze, hehe. We'll see. Unfortunately, parents will be back Sunday, so if there's a mess we'll have to clean it... but it should be fine. No parties have gotten out of hand yet...
Anyway, this feels like a good opportunity.. no parents, no sister to watch over us... it's like we're 16 and home alone and wanting to throw a crazy party... I wouldn't say it's once-in-a-lifetime, cuz sooner or later I can move out and throw another party "as-if" my parents weren't there, but... sentence over. But we should still take advantage of this time... so what shall we do?
