Watching Stuff!
Ooh, once again, haven’t blogged in a while. I’ve been working on Miami videos, playing scrabble, another flash game; watching stuff on youtube, going to The Ex with cousins, and playing more starcraft. I’ll update on half of this now, half of this later…
Miami Videos
Yay, Miami videos! I have 3 videos now, might have one or two more in mind (one about food, one about games), but for now, here’s three videos! First, I’d like to say that Windows Media Video (WMV) compression is pretty darn good – I’m actually kinda surprised how much quality there are in these wmvs. So that’s good – I still have good videos, and the file size is greatly reduced. Please… you watch!
Miami – Driving Video – okay, I admit, I think this video is a bit boring, but short, but still worth watching. I took a lot of driving footage while I was in Miami, so this is a compilation of that; so you’ll see roads, landscapes, houses, etc… video uses an edited version of “Won’t Be Fooled Again” by The Who (same theme song as CSI Miami, but edited a bit / a lot)
http://www.baomon.com/cruise/miami-drive.wmv - 2.8mb - 1.1 minutes long
Cruise – Surfing Video – I already mentioned this last update, and the video is up on facebook, but now you can have your own wmv version, and it’ll only take a few seconds to download. Video uses a (remix?) of Dick Dale’s Misirlou.
http://www.baomon.com/cruise/flowride.wmv - 4.0mb - 1.3 minutes long
Cruise – TOURIST Video! Yay, it’s finally done, and it’s the most lusty risqué video, haha. I won’t post it to Facebook or YouTube, so you’ll only find it here. I’m surprised the low file size for wmvs retain the framerate quite nicely. This video’s a bit erratic with fast changing scenes and images, but it’s great. Second half of the video is better in my opinion, but you should watch the whole thing anyway (cuz it’s worth it). But here are two versions of the video; the whole thing, and just the second half. Video uses the Crazy Frog version of “I like to move it”.
http://www.baomon.com/cruise/tourist-full.wmv - 8.5mb - 3.1 minutes long
http://www.baomon.com/cruise/tourist-half.wmv - 4.0mb - 1.5 minutes long
ENJOY! These videos were fun to make… now to get a camcorder so I can make more videos, heehee. As I said, I may or may not make two more videos, so we’ll see. But… food is so good…
Watching Stuff on YouTube
Last time I did this, I posted two musical thingieings and David liked one :P Anyway, this time here’s something that will make you laugh, something that will make you go “huh?”, one that might make you smile, and… I was going to post Justin Timberlake getting Punk’d (cuz that’s my favourite one) but they took it off YouTube due to copyright stuff. They sure are taking a lot of things off YouTube… anyway…
Family Feud – September - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNoV_kSe7Dk
Bloopers happen all the time on gameshows, but here’s one of my new favourite ones. It’s about 4 minutes long, during the Fast Money round on Family Feud. Anyway, I believe that the best way to make someone laugh, is to laugh, and hope it becomes contagious. Works with me. Anyway, if you like this clip, you can check related Family Feud clips, like the Alligator clip, which Vinh would recommend.
Miss Teen USA 2007 – South Carolina answers a question - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww
If you’ve been on facebook lately, this has been floating around and you’ve probably watched it by now. This clip will make you go “huh?”, make you think, and then make you laugh. It’s so amazing.
On The Lot – Sweet - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL5VMWPeKzw
Last time I blogged I mentioned On The Lot – this is one of the clips that I’ve seen, that I liked. It’s pretty good – watch the whole thing. Not the most original thing, but it’s still fun… and if you’re like me, you probably can’t wait for Season 2.
Scrabble
I still love scrabble! David, Wen, come back to Facebook and play scrabble! Oh, the joys of using high-powered tiles and high-powered letters, learning of and then using bingos in highly strategic placements, ooh, the joy!
Anyway, I decided to post the scrabble post on my other blog, since it’s really not that interesting unless you like scrabble analysis and ramblings. Come visit my other blog for pictures of completed or near-completed games, and some interesting line graphs/charts depicting some outrageous moves and sentence over!
Blog update over!
