my plate and what I ate... huh...
Wow, has it really been three weeks since I last updated? Apparently it has. Anyway, I said I would update about some stuff from last time, but that'll have to wait... I'm in the office right now, and it's 8:20 pm on Sunday night; my mom was working today so I came in to pick her up, but apparently we're not leaving yet... oh yeah, Jan (the German Guy, not the month) flew to New York for a few days, and is coming back tonight, so we're awaiting his call to pick him up from the airport.
Long story short, I'm missing the Simpson's Season Premiere now, but they're taping it for me at home... and at this rate, I'll miss the Family Guy premiere too, but they'll tape that for me too. So from last time, maybe I'll update about The EX later, or not at all; the Flash games will come next time, and whatever I said about Starcraft...ehhh, nah.
So, why haven't I been blogging the past 3 weeks? Part of it is because nobody else is blogging except David; it's kinda like blogging was an activity we'd do if we wanted to avoid studying or doing homework, yet not be blatantly playing games... so blogging has been going downhill lately (and by lately, I mean in the past few years).
But the real reason is that I used to blog while I'm at work (which is double ironic, because it's called "work" so you're not supposed to blog, and also because I am at "work" right now and "am" blogging)... tangents are fun, right? .... anyway, so in late August, Kelly, our official webmaster, left the company to work for some other website something company, so I'm filling in for her. Could be for a while, could be for a lot longer. And since I'm officially on the marketing team, I'm no longer sitting in my uncle's office, but I'm knee-deep in the marketing 'part' of WinMagic - so I'm in an open space, with a girl to the behind/right of me, a girl to the right of me, and a guy facing me in front, and the marketing director's room next to me.
I now also have a widescreen monitor, which is nice. But, long story short, I'm no longer on facebook during the day, and I'm no longer blogging during the day. I occasionally open up g-mail when there's not much work to do and I might write e-mails or stuff in draft, like I'm doing now, but it's not the same. I'm also not making flash games at work anymore.
Let's see... I'm not scrabulous anymore either. I could be; I just haven't started anymore games, and Wen and David and Alan aren't playing anymore either... but whatever. It used to be something I could do on Facebook while I'm at work, but since I don't do it anymore... well, I still enjoy online scrabble more than W/D/A do, for different reasons. I think of it as a daily puzzle, like a daily sudoku puzzle or those daily jokes you get in your e-mail.
Annywhoo.... so that's why I'm no longer blogging lately. So what have I been up to lately, and what's on my plate? Well, I'll write about it later, cuz Jan just called (8:31 pm) and we're going soon... so maybe I'll write... (sentence over, you don't want to read this process stuff, communism is great, capitalism is evil, Lenny Marx, blah blah blah)
Okay, so I'm back now... it's 9:50 pm. Went to pick up Jan, came back, watched taped Simpsons, Family Guy was an hour long so obviously didn't watch that yet.... oh, today I drove on the highway for the first time (at least, first time since I got my g2 again). That was... fine, I suppose. Okay, so now it's about 9:50, Duy and Jia are watching the ending of Family Guy, which I'm not watching yet for obvious reasons.
What have I been up to lately? At work, I'm learning about databases, sending out e-mails (e-mail blasts, like newsletters to 100-6000 people), fixing bugs on the website, putting press releases up, cleaning up e-mail addresses, etc... so mostly simple stuff. At home... well, got Metroid Prime 3, and that would account for about 10 days; every day after work I would come home and play Metroid Prime 3, for a couple hours, and now I've beat it.
Hmm... Halo 3 is coming out on Tuesday! I was going to get it for sure, but a recent video on XboxLive.. wow, now I'm going to get it for super-sure. ... but you don't want to hear about that.... hmm... Well, I am home now, but I'll save those flash games etc for another time, although I won't be making new flash games for a while... but whatever... sorry, my mind is a bit disfragmented right now, talking to a girl I met on Friday, on msn (don't look too deep into that, doesn't mean anything)... but she iiiss cute... ahem..
Hmm... for some reason I thought I would blog a lot more after coming home from picking up that guy from the airport... I think I was going to talk about Metroid Prime, but whatever, maybe some other time...
Umm... next blog update on the other blog will be about the games I own but don't play... hehe, that'll be a long list. I wonder how it compares with Ambrose's? Heh. Anyway, so that's why I haven't been blogging, and chances are I won't be blogging for a while... but everytime I say I will blog again soon, I don't... so if I say I won't blog for a while... ehhh? ehhhh?
