Off to China
Okay! In less than 12 hours I will wake up, and then I’ll be off to the airport, and we’ll meet up with Ray and Geoff and we’ll fly to China for 2 weeks.
What else to say? This should be a fun experience. I’m pretty excited. I’m pretty much all packed – there’s a few things that I want to use tomorrow morning, so I’ll pack them after that… as for clothing, I think I’m well prepared. I’m bringing a bunch of extra clothing just in case, but not too much… I don’t have infinite suitcase room.
We have plenty of just-in-case medications, for colds, flu, diarrhea, allergies, etc… shorts, long sleeve shirts, etc… so we’re well prepared. Duy has his DS for the flight, I have trusty ipod and trusty sleep to comfort me. Not much else to say. As expected, I probably won’t be blogging for the next 2 weeks… I might, if I get internet, but don’t expect anything. Besides, we’ll be too busy exploring the sights and experiencing the culture. Expect plenty of pictures when we get back (and lots of pictures of food :P)
There’s not much else to say about China, so we’ll return to our regularly scheduled blogging…. Vinh and I beat Freebird expert/expert finally, woohoo.
Yesterday was May 21st, and TOJAM was supposed to post all the games from TOJam 2007, but they haven’t posted anything yet. Check the tojam website over the next little while to see our game!
A few days ago, Me, Jia, Duy and Bao were 22 hours through Tales of the Abyss, a fan favourite among the Waterloo group, only recently joining the Mississauga group. But… then the Playstation 3 ate our internal memory and erased everything. Turns out it’s not unheard of – there have been plenty of such occurrences, apparently, as we hear on the web.
Damn you playstation 3. Damn you and your faulty memory cards (both internal in PS3 and external in PS2 (like my GuitarHero saves)). Anyway, I think Duy started playing it again, solo, and he’s 2 hours in.
Annyway… hmm.. not sure what else to post right now. Maybe I’ll write more later tonight… but anyway, if you like videogame related posts, there’ll be two more short posts on my other blog later tonight. Anyway… see ya in two weeks!
