Feb 23 Party Pics and Notes
Okay, so yesterday I had my official reading week party, and it was pretty good. There were a few guests I weren't totally expecting, but then again there were a whole slew of guests I expected to come, but didn't. None of the Andrew's/Andy's came, Mitch didn't come, Ryan went back to Guelph already, a few other peope that said they were going to come didn't... ack.
Last time I had a party, I didn't take enough pics, so this time I took a few more, so to 'document' my party. I think I took a picture of every guest.
Each picture is 500x375 px, I'm not doing thumbnails this time. Thus, if your browser width is at least 1000px, then you'll see two pics side by side, otherwise each picture will be on top of another..
(some of this post may be inaccurate)
(bwahahaha) (what does that mean?)
So, this is the first picture, in the afternoon, maybe 4 or 5 pm. Those guys are playing World of Warcraft. Ambrose predicts that this will be the state of affairs in 12 hours, around 4 or 5 am, and also when the party ends.
Here, Isaque and Wen are making Miis on the Wii. Wen made two mii's, one of himself and one of someone else. Isaque made a mii of himself. Check the pictures to see how accurate he is.
Here is the famous cake. Mai is hard at work creating a new cake, for someone's baby shower, in the shape of some baby boots. Also, a dinosaur came to the party.
I invited Kien and Tony from work. They came, played some poker, took our money, and left.
Here are a few pictures of the other guests. There's Eric whom you may not have seen for a while, Lachlan and Laura, Mai and Sara, Silent Jody, and there's Nadin, and Donny Stoyle.
Other words of mention were Lasagna, Popeye's Chicken, Corona, Smirnoff Ice, mixed drinks, Guitar Hero, Wariowii, World of Warcraft, some Zoolander, Monkeyball, and $1 poker games.
In the morning, the 4 of us in the picture (Duy, Wen, Ambrose, and myself) went to a breakfast-serving restaurant, the same one we went to last party. The Double Breakfast was popular among us, but this time we tried some poached eggs as well, which I think were quite good.
A picture of the food, and then when we came back, we played Smash while Wen played FFVI Advance. Isaque came by later and people played Meteos and Guitar Hero.
This is the last picture, before dinner time. The party is ending. Those guys are playing World of Warcraft. Ambrose's prediction was totally correct. So, that's the end of the party. Afterwards, we went to dinner, and the others left (yes, even Jia).
