Some Up Dates, Some UpComing Dates
I'm addicted to Facebook now. Sure, half my list are people I regularly talk to on MSN or see in real life, but it's the other half that's important - it's the people you know but can't get in contact with, or people you knew, or people you forgot about but love so much, and now you can get in contact with them again! It's fun being able to interact with people you haven't seen in long times. Adding to this, on Saturday I went to a birthday celebration held by my friend Alfie. So I saw a half a dozen highschool friends I haven't seen in a while. Some are the same as before, some have changed a lot, and that's cool. Also met a bunch of Alfie's new friends, from work, university, other work, etc... that's cool.
And now that I have gotten back in touch with Alfie, I look forward to going out with them again... start socializing again. Should be inteeeresting.
As for work, I'm now working at WinMagic again. I'm no longer in between jobs, and I'm not looking for another job yet. I'm working under Joseph now, he's the marketing director, so I actually have work to do. I'm going to be building the Intranet, so that's the website inside the company, that the employees will look at but not the rest of the world. It'll be mostly information, with links to resources inside and outside the company. So if an employee doesn't know how to do this or that in the company, or if he needs a change-of-address or something-form, then you can probably download it from the Intranet. Also, Joseph says the network/shared-drives are a mess right now, making it hard to find what you're looking for, so the Intranet, ideally, would obsolete the shared folder and make everything easy to find.
So, I'm doing a big project now, which means I shouldn't be looking for another job. This also means I'm not moving downtown with my sister anymore, since I don't need to. She only has a few nightcourses right now, so she's not driving back and forth every day or anything, so she doesn't need to move out either.
So... supposedly I should blog about snowboarding, montreal, christmas presents, boxing day adventures, and some other things related to the Christmas season... but nah, haha. I'll do that later. I'd like to type out some important dates for me/us to remember:
Yesterday - "24" season premiere
Today - "24" season premiere continued
Today - Warioware Wii supposedly comes out
Tomorrow - WOW Burning Crusade comes out, so Blizzard strikes again (on another note, my brother's bus was cancelled today, so Blizzard struck today too, heh)
Saturday, January 20th - Jia's Birthday
Monday, January 22nd - Heroes comes back (same timeslot as "24" ... awww)
Friday, January 26th - Winterlicious at 7:15pm at Acqua Restaurant
Saturday, January 27th - Christa's Birthday
Friday, February 2nd - Winterlicious at 7:30pm at Pangaea Restaurant
Saturday, February 3rd - New Magic set, Planar Chaos comes out, so draft (with Ambrose's/Jia's idea)
Saturday, February 10th - Winterlicious at 8:00pm at Fred's Not Here
I thought I had more dates in mind... but I didn't. Actually, let's add...
March 12th - my birthday!
April 26th - Duy's birthday
End of April - Asia trip
May 27th - apparently, some Gordon Graydon reunion thing
