Continuing my goals post:
OTHER GOALS:
3) Do more Plyometrics
4) Do 2 well-defined chinups in a row
10) See Christa and Ching
18) See Andrew Tso again
26) Get someone else addicted to something
8) get my G1... heh. what?
17) Try the pizza hut cheesy bites pizza or die trying
27) Bake a cake
19) Figure what alcoholic drinks I like and which I don't
22) Go back to Loo and have chicken wings at least 2 nights that week, or 1 night of chicken wings and 1 night at.. unlimited bread & salad, or unlimited mongolian or something..
28) Spend a week at Mac
29) Attend a convention
30) get my digital camera up and running again
24) Win a contest
The plyometric goal was a weird goal to define, but since then I stopped following the P90X system, and tried some other thing for a few weeks, heh. As for the chin-ups, I guess I stopped trying, but the answer is a definite no.
I haven’t seen Christa or Ching for over 10 months! :( And I haven’t seen Andrew Tso either, although he lives less than a km away. Amish has seen him every now and then though… I did see Andrew Paton though! That counts for something… and I saw my MacMaster girls again, that should count for something too... and continuing on, I think I got Andrew addicted to Q-tips at my party for a few minutes. He was going crazy with them.
I did get my G1! Hehe, what a small goal. I still have time to go for my G2… but there’s snow outside now… hmm… maybe I should go for my G2, but then it’s no longer a “just for fun” goal :P
Nope, didn’t do the pizza hut thing, nor had I recently had anything special from Pizza Hut. I haven’t baked a cake yet. I hear it’s pretty easy. As for the alcohol thing… I’m getting there.
I like Coronas. I like a lot of draught beers – like, Heineken from a can is not too great, Heineken from draught is good enough. Long ago I had Kokanee draught, so I’m not sure if I like Kokanee or if it’s the draught thing. Corona I can drink either way.
Vodka, or Raspberry vodka, or peach snapps or whatever, in a shot glass, is good for me, heh. Mixing vodka with stuff however, isn’t – I don’t like the taste. Like, I had a kahlua and milk, and then someone gave me a white Russian, which is that, plus vodka, and I couldn’t drink it. (edit - I had a few mixed drinks last weekend, but very small mixed... but I think I can separate the orange and the vodka, so it's like, I know what I'm tasting? So I can enjoy it better...)
Rama got me rum and coke, but then he added a lot of rum and I didn’t like that. I think a hint of rum is good enough for me. Had some gin and tonic… nice smell, but didn’t like it that much at the time. Wine is… meh, it’s okay. I’d rather not though. Sake is too strong too.
I like Kahlua and Milk, it tastes like Chocolate milk. But my award goes to Bailey’s. I had a bit at the WinMagic Christmas party and I really liked it. Then I had some more on some random nights after that. Tried mixing it with milk, it’s good that way too. I think we’re almost out… wait. I think we have an unopened bottle somewhere…
Haven’t had tequila yet. I’ve had the opportunity, but I didn’t think I was ready. If I do try it, it’ll have to be a controlled environment, like, home. I hear a lot of things about it… I used to think I was a newbie at drinking, but not as much now, so I can’t use that excuse anymore…
I did go back to Waterloo for a week or so since I posted that goal, but I didn’t do all that crazy food stuff I posted about. But I do have a craving for chicken wings… as for mac, I didn’t spend a week there yet – work got in the way, since I started at a new job. Then I stopped working, but haven’t had the time to go there. I was going to try to see Ching! But, that failed. (edit - but I did go to Mac last weekend, as you can see from the post below. 'twas awesome.)
I went with Hawk to that free, one day anime convention. We didn’t actually convent, we just went to the dealer’s room and then left, because the rest was pretty crappy. Had a good shopping day in downtown though. Next, I did get my camera to work again, yay – just went to Henry’s and they told me to get a replacement cable from Radioshack. Yes, we still call it Radioshack. Cute camera.
Lastly… did I win a contest? This was also poorly defined, but I can’t think of a contest that I’ve won. Oh well.
So what’s with these goals? Well, some are just for fun, some deal with relationships, friendships, and taking care of myself and my things.
Overall, these were my goals. I guess I’ll do this again in March, that was fun. Some of these goals are actual goals that I wanted to accomplish. Some of these goals might be things that I wanted to see if they would happen or not. For some, it’s an amazing thing when you realize that it didn’t happen over the course of a year. Not see Ching for a year? That’s crazy. It’d be even crazier if I didn’t fix my camera, get my g1, or beat ninja gaiden after a whole year.
So… does anyone want to buy 85% of my anime? :P
