Merry Christmas and Holiday Plans

First of all, the usual, Merry Christmas everyone! Now, back to regular blogging =)

So, the Christmas party was a success, for the most part – it did what I wanted to accomplish – have fun, and get in touch with old friends. Jody, Ryan, Andrew Paton, Mike, and unexpected guess Imran came, so that was cool. Would be nice if Lachlan showed up with Laura, and Shane and Michelle and Alfie. As well, Tony from work said he’d come, but he didn’t. But oh well…

The overall party went well. Food was pretty good, although a bit offtimed, and those special pizzas were… interesting, to say the least. Whether or not David gets pizza duty again is still up in the air, though. The wii was awesome – especially for the older kids, they were all glued to the tv like crazy, playing wii sports. Who needs any other games?

There was a bit of beer, and some other drinks, which didn’t really affect the party, but it was nice, at least to know that the option was there. Nobody got drunk or even slightly buzzed or tipsy, and overall the party stayed pretty tame, which is good. There was slight interaction between Graydonites and Woodlanders, which is fine – I’m not trying to get them to co-mingle or whatever.

Needless to say, I would love to have another party like this soon. March is soon. Also, coincidentally, my birthday’s in March. Hmm….

Eventually I want to have a blog post about setting up the wii, Rayman, something about witty jokes, and maybe something about Christmas presents… but first, something the Christmas break. But even before that, I’d like to remove any surprises or confusions for people who weren’t still at my party after 10pm:

Before anyone asks, no, we didn’t buy it. And no, we didn’t steal it either. Long story short, company employee gave this as a present to company president. And that’s it. And now the trio is complete.

Anyway, onto the Holidays. Today is the 25th; tomorrow is the 26th, boxing day; and then the morning of the 27th, we’ll head out to Montreal, and we get back on either the 30th (at night) or 31st (at night). Then, the Waterlooer’s who are still in school go back on the 2nd or the 3rd.

Tomorrow is boxing day, and most of my family is probably going shopping from 8am to 6pm or something like that; Duy and I aren’t as keen on shopping. We’ll probably shop from 10am to 1pm, and that’ll be for games and stuff (we have no games for PS3, need many controllers for Wii, and need games for it too, etc).

So, if you follow a similar shopping schedule to ours, then it means we’re both free in the afternoon, and we can get together and do stuffs. Additionally, perhaps you’d want to go shopping with us. Anyway, long story short, we’ll be free in the afternoon if anyone wants to do anything. And by anything, I think it means come over and play on the PSWii60.
