Am I famous yet?
Yesterday I started creating some quasi-new content for some internal presentation… well, it’s a presentation by us, for clients to see, so eventually clients will see. See, we have different kinds of ads, but we don’t really want to show our clients ads from other companies, so Victoria and I have been working with some existing content (our logos, mascot, etc) to make some quasi-new content… so this morning I spent a bit of time working on that.
I also added some code to some flash files, that, when they go live in a few days, will help us track and monitor how well the ad is doing.
I edited an existing, live ad so that some of the animation is different. After I edited it, and my superiors have looked at it (so like, 1 superior and 1 co-worker), and the ad went live again with the new changes.
And, lastly, Victoria and I are now leading an ad campaign for a company. Well, two companies. Using flash skills and even some Adobe Premiere video editing work, I was able to produce a demo of what the file will look like later. I’m pretty proud of meself.
(They’re pretty big companies – I use one of their products, everyday!)
Anyway, I’m now officially part of the company, so I’ve signed the contract, and so I can’t just say everything and anything anymore on my blog. Who knows? Maybe you guys will see some of our/my work.
Anyway, work and work environment’s going pretty good. So I said first day I went to lunch by myself, yesterday I went to lunch with Victoria, the new girl, and two of the other guys. We were all 25 years old, that was pretty cool. Went to some small cafeteria-like place. Today we went to Lick’s, with different people. I just had a burger. Should’ve had more, but didn’t want to burn a hole in my wallet or my stomach. Heh.
As far as I know, there are four 25 year old’s, at least 3 computer science major’s, at least 1 U of Waterloo, and at least 1 UTM. Oh, and 1 Trent too. And 1 has had Laser eye surgery. It’s a pretty good working environment. The office just had a makeover, it looks.. cleaner now. Water cooler’s right behind me… you know how I love my water. I should bring in my own cup. I’m bringing my own mouse… … maybe I’ll leave the porcupine here for now.
In totally other news, I’m finally all caught up Heroes (the TV show), but nowadays I’m missing all the CSI’s. That’s okay though. Anyway, it’s 9:40… ya know what that means… good night!
