Song Viet 10
Well, it’s been almost a week, so I figured I should update. So, this last weekend I went camping with UVSA. I would post pictures, but I don’t think any of you really care to see them, and instead just want a text summary.
Or maybe you do? I’ll post a link to a page I made for the others, and then I’ll receive comments like:
Alan: It looks like you had a good time, sir.
David: Why are those two guys eating the same cookie at the same time?
Bao: That Danny Hoho guy is so hot. I wanna be just like him.
Err… disregard that last one. Anyway, most of the pictures (96) I took can be found here:

I’ll try to be concise… maybe 4 paragraphs? Let’s try it.
So I went to Song Viet 8 and now Song Viet 10, the annual UVSA camping trip. This time, we headed to Emily Park in Omeemee, Ontario, near Peterborough, so roughly 2-hours of driving. I registered as McMaster so I can share with their food, but I went with my group, which consisted of 3 coworkers and some of their friends. They registered under Harvard. Including me, there were 11 of us Harvard grads, heh.
Overall, the weekend was a blast. Met old friends, met a whole bunch of new friends (Windsor is awesome), hanging around them is cool; played a few sports, went swimming, did a bunch of team activities, slept in tents; spent so much time outside, which is a good change of scenery and pace, from staying inside all the time, playing videogames, blogging, or playing magic. Heh.
Saturday night is like the nights I like. All the other Harvard guys went to bed around 11:00, but I decided to stay up – why sleep when you can mingle? So I did. Singing in groups around campfires, getting a back massage, laughing at Anna and her burping hiccups, having a swing of vodka, and finding one of the two camp leaders passed out in the bathroom, were all part of Saturday’s agenda. And of course, hanging out with Windsor, then Ryerson, and McMaster too. Got to sleep around 2:45.
I found the guy in the bathroom. Then me and this girl brought him out. It’s like I rescued him. And… well, that’s it, and that’s 4 paragraphs. Harvard had a good representation, although our cockiness probably got some people hating us, but all in good fun. But in all seriousness, I want to be like Danny Hoho. He’s the best backflipping breakdancer I know. He’s also one of those good people to hang around with.
I hope he doesn’t read this. Heh.
