Less Time for Blogging, Must see Lost
I don’t seem to update a lot anymore, at least, not lately. Now I’m trying to be one of those 11-7 sleepers, so sleep at 11:00-11:30pm, wake up at 7:00-7:30pm. When I wake up, I eat breakfast, and while eating, usually I watch an episode of Lost, or maybe half an episode. Then maybe I exercise, or do whatever, and then I’m off to work.
Work goes until about 6-7pm. Tuesdays I go bowling, Thursdays I play soccer, and on some Fridays we play poker, although ever since Eric started working, there’ve been rumours about Starcraft games… and there’s Tennis on some days, maybe weekdays, maybe weekends.
After eating and watching Prime Time, it’s about 8:30 or 9:00, and then I have 2 hours until I’m going to bed. Maybe I’ll chat on the internet, or do some blogging, or watch some more Lost or BSG. I gotta finish Lost before Season 3 comes out on TV. So you see, that’s why I blog so irregularly now. You probably notice I have a lot more outdoor, sportish activities in my schedule nowadays, which I think is good.
Anyways, I want to blog about some of these things in more detail later, but here’s a quick recap of what’s been going on – in no particular order:
Saw Lord of The Rings – I want to blog more about this, but long story short, I’ve heard enough bad/mediocre reviews about it, but I found it pretty awesome. I was impressed with the way they used the stage – the rotating stage, the elevating stage, and the hole in the middle – very nice.
Went to that seminar, which is like a Goal-setting seminar – took a Kolbe profile test (you can take one online, will cost you $50 though), found out I’m good at certain things and bad at others, etc – will talk more about this later.
Went to a fashion show hosted by the Vietnamese community, wasn’t very good – or took too long and was too boring.
WinMagic picnic postponed because not enough people confirmed attendance – so instead of last Saturday, it’s this Sunday.
So instead, on Saturday, went Go-Karting. Racing in videogames is fun, racing in go-karts really immerses you into the experience, and thus, is more fun, except you don’t drift and stuff.
Last Sunday, Eric (who remembers him?) and David and Alan came over. David was about to leave but then we told him Alan was coming over and then he stayed the rest of the afternoon. ‘Twas fun. So we pretty much just hang around for the day, play games, the usual. Didn’t watch more firefly or play magic or whatever.
Bowling sucked today – well, it was non-spectacular – 59, 84, 95, 89.
Had a Magic draft with Alan and Jason.
Watched "Vanished", new series. It's another investigation kinda thing, except that the case didn't end in episode 1. And from the previews, it won't end in episode 2 either. It might take 6 or 8, or, if you're thinking what I'm thinking, it'll take about 24. Will watch more, but it's not thaaat amazingly good.
Snakes on a Plane this Saturday, unless new plans arise.
Anyways, it's 10:32, so I can squeeze in 1 episode of Lost. yay.
