They're back, and in greater numbers than before
Colour Matters. I want people to play gold cards. But single-colour is so good! But multi-colour is good too! AHHHH, I’m going crazy!!! So in all this confusion, I present to you this other confusing card. How would you play this?
How would you play this? GGGGG? Sac all lands and get 5 1/1 tokens? Stick this into a primarily blue deck and sac your forest for this? Try to get it out without using any forests?
Actually, that last part isn’t so hard with the Ravnica bounce lands and signets. Remember, I'm allowing everyone to put any number of Ravnica lands into their decks that they will draft. Maybe this guy is even worth lovedrafting. Anyway, while you think about how to play this guy, I’ll show you something else.
I noticed when a spell had replicate, it would always say the casting cost of the spell afterwards. Why? Why doesn’t it just say “replicate – casting cost” ? Well, I took advantage of the situation and gave some cards a different replicate cost than the casting cost.
However, I didn’t want to have too many cards with replicate, so it’s only on a handful of cards. Also, I did something else with Replicate! Well, this only affects three cards, one of which is today’s main preview card:
