Trip update, 360 update

So… from the comments of the last update (13 comments total thus far!) the trip sounds like a good idea, except nobody knows when we should do it. In my last comment, I posted a link to the Cathay Pacific All-Asia Pass, which is what our family used on our trip to Asia: http://www.cathay.ca/offers/aap/offer.asp - I think it would be a pretty good deal, if we wanted to do that type of thing.

Also, Kyle linked me to a classified ad from a Automobile forum, so I signed up and started messaging the guy and he said he might be able to sell the xbox 360 to me this weekend. So, here’s to hoping it works out, and that the xbox 360 works and there’s nothing wrong with it.

From the other comments though, I started thinking of why I wanted an xbox 360. PGR3 is probably quiiite a big reason. I think I’ll try out Dead or Alive 4. But currently, there probably aren’t that many games I want. 99 Nights might be good. Halo 3 will be good. There are a few good games on Xbox-Live-Arcade. So, there may not be too many games I want now, but I’m sure there will be in the future. But if I wait for the future, I may not be able to get my hands on a 360.

Anyway, maybe when I get the 360, Isaque will start buying games for it =)

Anyhoo, I actually wanted to post a different update. My birthday’s coming up (perfect time to get a 360, no?), so just for fun I started putting together a list of things I want to get accomplished by March 12th, 2007. So it’s like a new years resolution, but instead of very broad things (lose weight, try new things, don’t get angry as often), they are more specific things, some easy and some hard. Really, it’s all in good fun. Let’s see how many of the easy ones I don’t get accomplished.

1) Get David to watch an episode of Gankutsuou
2) Watch an episode of either the Amazing Race or Corner Gas
3) Do more Plyometrics (first was gonna say survive an hour of it, but that's impossible... or is it?) This one shouldn't be too hard, because "more" isn't so well defined. I already like Plyometrics, because it's the hardest thing on the dvds. My favourite exercise is the 2nd one, Run Stance Squat. My other favourite "exercise" is upward Dog.. heh. And who can forget Arm circles...
4) Do 2 well-defined chinups in a row
5) own an xbox 360
6) beat Master Ninja or Ninja Gaiden Black
7) get a lot farther in KOTOR and Katamari Damacy
8) get my G1 again... heh. what? Maybe I should aim higher…
9) Have Duy finish Paper Mario
10) See Christa and Ching
11) Have a Firefly party (4eps +)
12) Have a CSI party, probably when Jason gets back
13) Watch at least 15% of the anime that I own (on dvd or computer) that I haven't seen yet.
14) Draft a Borborygmos or a Niv-Mizzet
15) Watch TAFFRK
16) play a d20 game again or ... The Great Game of Fantasticity
17) Try the pizza hut cheesy bites pizza or die trying
18) See Andrew Tso again
19) Figure what alcoholic drinks I like and which I don't
20) Go paintballing
21) Get 10 more diamond records in Karaoke Revolution Party
22) Go back to Loo and have chicken wings at least 2 nights that week, or 1 night of chicken wings and 1 night at.. unlimited bread & salad, or unlimited mongolian or something..
23) Watch a movie the night it opens, or buy a hot-ticket item the day of (or pre-order, and show up the day of)
24) Win a contest
25) Get addicted to a new show or song or something
26) Get someone else addicted to something
27) Bake a cake
28) Spend a week at Mac
29) Attend a convention
30) get my digital camera up and running again
31) Figure out what those people are saying in Snatch around 57:30, or translate the movie... heh.
32) Finish watching Return of the King Extended

… anyway, that’s it. I just thought of all that today…
