Shortest.Poker.Game.Ever.
A few hours ago I had the shortest online poker game ever, and second shortest poker game (online and offline) ever.
The shortest real life game happened one day at school… there was a $10 tournament, and the 9 people already started playing, and then I showed up and asked if I could join. So they already played one hand, but they let me join since it didn’t make much of a difference. So first hand, I was dealt pocket kings. Big blind was about 20 chips, and then I raised it to 200 after a few people called. One of the presidents of the poker club asked me “you know that blue chip is worth 200, right?” And I nodded.
I guess some other guy sorta didn’t believe me or something, so he raised all in, so an additional 2000 chips or something. I hesitated for a bit, but ya know, it’s pocket kings, right? So I called, and he turns up 10 Ace. Flop comes, he hits two pair, and that became the shortest game ever.
Today I played two games of poker online. My first game I thought I did pretty well, but then I caught pocket kings, pocket 9’s, pocket 8’s, and JQ-suited in a row. So I won a good pot with pocket kings, but then pocket 9’s made me lose a bunch of change, so did pocket 8’s, and then I went all in with JQ-suited and that cost me the game. And I was doing so well.
I really wanted to play again, so I did, and then I was (almost) out on the 3rd hand. The hand went something like this:

And that’s… the end. In other poker news, I’m doing okay; fluctuating a lot though. I did win a poker game at Winmagic though, that was fun. Now all those guys are making a big deal out of it at the office, saying I’m a poker god and all that…
