Anger, Fish, and Gamers – three unrelated topics
I try not to get angry anymore, usually. Ever since about 6-9 months ago, my parents got me to be more… pacific, as they say. That is, not to argue back. So it goes against my belief (which is why I argue), but then we learn that if you don’t argue, you don’t get in trouble. So basically, I stopped trying to argue back, which keeps things happy.
However, there’s still one thing that gets me pretty angry. It’s when my computer screws up. The way I see it, this computer is expensive, and thus, it shouldn’t screw up. Each time it screws up, I get so angry – it wastes time and all that. Yesterday I tried to burn a dvd so I can listen to music at work, but it didn’t work, so then I got angry. How ironic… I was going to listen to music at work to make it a better day, but then my computer wouldn’t let me do that, and then I got the exact opposite.
Then I thought of writing this blog entry, because that would relieve me of some of the anger and make me feel better. But instead of writing this entry, I just THOUGHT OF writing this entry, and that made me feel better already. And now, I’m actually writing this entry, so in some ways this makes it worse, cuz it reminds of my anger. Although, since I was thinking of writing this entry, the thought of it will be a constant reminder until I actually do write the entry, and voila, that brings us to now.
So anyway, I broke one of my rules – I now listen to music at work. Jia’s right, that Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny is a pretty good song. I’m listening to it right now as I’m writing this. Anyway, music does make work more interesting. I don’t think I’ll get MSN though, since THAT is the most distracting thing indeed.
Fish
Tonight when my dad drove me to and from work, we were always talking about one thing; Fish. It seems, we keep buying fish, and then they keep dying. At one point, we had two fish, and then my mom bought a third fish, and then they lived with each other… and then soon after, the first two fish died. Ya know why?
Apparently the new fish was sick; but it had treatment, and it was sick for a while so it was used to it. Unfortunately, the two other fish couldn’t handle it, and then died. We didn’t know about this beforehand, so it could’ve been treated.
And then there was this other fish that was disabled, and it stayed at the bottom of the tank and couldn’t swim up to eat. Apparently this one stayed alive for a month, and then my dad noticed it and started helping him up so he can eat.
And then just recently, another fish died because it ate too much. So… yeah, we keep losing fish. I don’t care much for fish, at least, as pets. Some are cool, but those ones are expensive. And even then, being in the corner of the kitchen, they’re not very… there. I don’t notice them much.
Gamers
Aww, it’s sad. I just read in an anime newsletter that I read, that the Gamerz store (by Broccoli, the guys who brought us Digi Charat) has closed down because Broccoli is suffering from financial troubles. Well.. yeah, that sucks, Jason can’t buy stuff there anymore. It was a great store, I really liked it.
There was so much stuff in there. Sure, around Akkihabara you can find 100’s of stores that were smaller versions of Gamerz, but Gamerz is the digi-charat place, and that’s cool.
And that, is three topics unrelated. Vietnamese New Year is coming up soon, hopefully it’ll be interesting. There’s a dance party in Toronto tomorrow, but I just heard of it, and, well, it’s a dance party, so I probably won’t go, although I just read on their msn-names that two of my favourite Vietnamese people are going… oh well. That’s okay.
Ooh, and a little trivia. Remember when I literally wrote down my version of lyrics for some of Ambrose’s songs, and the Dragostea Din Tei song before I knew the lyrics? Well, here’s a clip of SOMETHING.
Reedee Pieyaachoh! - Zultwra Mahre'in Fraamtoh!
Don’t bother trying to figure out what that’s from. If anyone, then Jia is most likely to get it. Actually, never mind. You’re never gonna get it, bwahahaha. Unless one of you does, then I’ll be EXTREMELY surprised.
