Wish we can go there during the day’s rolling. Like that’s possible.
I recently started playing a new videogame… well, it’s not really new, but it’s new to me. I’ve heard great and weird things about this game, and now I finally get to experience it for myself. And yeah, what an interesting experience it is.
I think it’s the type of game that makes you feel good. It’s a game about growth, and, while this may sound harsh, it’s also a game about revenge.
When I say growth, I don’t mean like, your character starts out as a little boy and grows up to be a man with defining features – but rather, instantaneous growth, over the course of a few minutes. You feel empowered to be able to overcome obstacles, which you may have had trouble with a few minutes ago. You may feel frustrated at first, but after a few minutes, you’ll easily overcome the obstacle and then you feel good.
The game makes you happy. The game sets objectives for you, and within those objectives you make your own goals and objectives, and as you finish each of them you feel that much better about yourself.
And when I say revenge, I kind of mean it in regard to your obstacles; you may be bullied by a dog, or a crab, but after a few minutes of “growth”, you can beat those obstacles, and show that dog or crab who’s boss.
And the game has fun bonus levels too, which are quite relaxing and fun. Once again, you have an objective, not so strict this time, and once again you make your own mini-objectives and then you just have fun during the bonus levels.
And the graphics are good, the controls are good, and the music… whoa, the music is very good. It suits the game very well. A great story-line with cutscenes keeps the game rolling, which makes me really want to beat the next level. Overall, it’s a pretty interesting game, which makes you feel good while playing it. Makes you feel like you’re getting so much accomplished.
