Rhyming Joke
Aww, my Ninja Gaiden post wasn't attractive. Anyway, a filler entry for now:
A week ago, I was reading a joke book we had bought over a decade ago from the big Coles book store in Toronto. I was just browsing, and I came by a joke that I think was worth mentioning. It’s a children’s joke, but it was so clever for a children’s joke.
A kid walked up to another kid during recess.
“Wanna hear a poem?” Said one kid.
“Sure. But only if it rhymes. I only like poems that rhyme.”
“You’ll like this one then,” the first kid replied.
“There was once a silly girl named Nellie,
Fell into water up to her knees.”
“That didn’t rhyme!” came the complaint.
“I know,” said the poet. “The water wasn’t deep enough.”
