Incite War and 3 = 10
Incite War
The post below incited war. By that I mean, between when I posted that and today, I’ve played Guild Wars twice, once with Ray and Jia for about 2 hours, and once with Ray, Jia, and Jason for almost 4 hours. Jia fixed his problem, so his computer can run it now.
Yesterday we spent quite some time talking to Mad King Thom, some Halloween special that Guild Wars had. It was slightly amusing, and funny at times (when mass people died near the beginning), and I guess it was an okay Halloween special – sorta retarded, but it was amusing. Glad I got some stuff out of it. And then we went out on a quest and had a candy-corn guard come out with us. That was pretty awesome.
So… this is good. I like Guild Wars. I’m glad Ray and Jia and Jason can find some time to play it too. Hopefully in a few months we’d have all things done in Guild Wars, cuz I see WOW’s coming out with an expansion pack…
Three equals Ten
So last weekend was supposedly my “party where nobody’s there”, which was just a get together with Duy and Ambrose. I wanted to rent Mario Baseball, but for some reason Blockbuster didn’t have it, so we rented X-Men Legends II instead. We enjoyed the first one, and this one’s supposedly good too. And it is.
Nightcrawler doesn’t suck anymore. And it’s a whole lotta fun. At least, with multiple people.
Anyway, rental isn’t cheap – 3 days for $6.99+tx. However, blockbuster doesn’t have late fees anymore. I called to make sure, and the deal is, if you keep it for over a week over the due date, your account will be charged for the purchase of the item. If you return it after a week, I think there’s either a $2 fee, or a $2/day fee. However, if you return it within the week past it’s due, there’s no late charges.
So technically, my 3-day rental is a 10-day rental! I did call to make sure, and that’s pretty much what it sounds like. So I have the game until next Tuesday, so I’ll return it on Monday – which means when Duy gets back this weekend, we can play it a bit more.
