Last leg

Alright. 4 days in Singapore, done. 4 days in Hong Kong, done. 4 days in Japan, done. Right now I'm in HK, waiting for our flight to Vietnam. I'm in a lounge, which we had to pay to get into, so now we can use internet and eat infinite food and drink infinite drinks, and have showers and a bunch of other things.

After Japan, my mom and aunt split from us 3, and they're going to Taipei, Chinese Taipei, for 2 days. So they'll be back in Toronto before you can solve the ST-Y puzzle. As for my dad, he's with us right now, but after Vietnam he has to go back to Singapore for an important business meeting, so he has to leave Vietnam after we do. Thus, it'll be our first time, boarding a plane without parents. Shouldn't go wrong, it's pretty simple actually.

Vietnam however, is starting to sound scary. For the past couple days, my parents have been feeding me information about Vietnam, and thus scaring me. Things about how you can't trust people, because they're going to kidnap you and hypnotize you and take away all your money; about how they're not as hygenic, and how I shouldn't try out different foods, and how I can't go around by myself. How you can get really sick if you do anything different.

But, I figure, my friends go to Vietnam every now and then, and they're okay; plus, my sister went a few months ago, and she's okay, so we should be fine. But it still sounds scary. Good news of course is that it's cheap, so, as my parents say, I will be able to live like a king. A king that's scared to go outside and trust people. So... we'll see. I think it should be okay. But if not, then this is my last blog entry, haha. I expect to see a lot of comments (yes, I can probably check my blog in the underworld).

There's a plane outside, I see through the window, it says DRAGONAIR on the side. I think that's the company... oh wait, that makes sense. Dragon... air... yes...

Manga is heavy. And books are heavy. And it's weird, because I can't read these books, but I buy them anyway. Some books are worth the pictures. And besides, some things that I bought are not for the content; but for what they represent; like a souvenir from Japan, or HK, or Singapore, you could say. But, I did buy a lot of stuff, and it's getting harder to pack my suitcase.

I'm in the airport lounge, for a while, so I have plenty of time to write, not sure what I want to write about though. I was thinking I'd write something about the countries, so that, for one, I don't have to write as much when I get back, but nah, that's not a great reason, and if I make a mistake here I could lose my whole post, and i'd hate that.

There are a couple of... I forget what they're called, but they're a few computers to the left of me. Ya know those people at the beginning of Snatch? Those guys. Anyway... we bought lots of stuff in Japan, especially in _K_ _ _ _ _ R _ . Unfortunately I couldn't get my preferred present for... my friend Lorah... and Ching... :( And... I got some stuff for Amy, except the wood sandals, cuz they were waay too expensive.

Million Dollar Baby... half the movie is about boxing, half the movie is much sadder. Be Cool... ahh, I dunno why, but when I see John Travolta in a suit, he just... looks so important. It's like he represents importance, or something - he looks so confident and prestigious or whatever. Anyway, I kinda liked Be Cool.

But anyway... I'll post this for now... maybe I can post more stuff later. For now, this will do.
