home, and Magic Draft
Okay, I'm home!
Anyway, so tomorrow's the magic draft. Starts at 2:00 pm, so officially come at 1:00 pm. Seven attendees, plus a couple people not drafting might be here, ya know, to discuss the trip and whatever. Alan has bought the cards and lands and plastics as necessary, and now all we need is the people.
So, Alan, Bao, Duy, and Vinks are coming. Alan with the cards, and us 3 since we live here.
I haven't gotten any response from Jason since the middle of May, and today I messaged him with "are you ready for tomorrow" and his response was "tomorrow? huh?" ... so that was a little discomforting. He said he was coming, but that was in the middle of May. So... I dunno, we'll see. But with past experience, he's reliable and stuff, so he has a good chance of coming.
David has a high probability of coming late, which really sucks. But studies show that, upon reading the previous sentence, he gains a +20% circumstance bonus for coming on time. So, the chance that he comes on time is about 60% now. So, David will probably read this sentence at 2:00 am, and then try to go to bed, but succeeding to do so at 4:00 am.
And then there's Andy... who seems forgetful, and on many occasions in waterloo, he has not shown up for events in which he told me he will. And then, he also has a lateness factor. So, if we tell him it starts at 2:00, he has a 30% chance of not showing up, a 60% chance of showing up between 1:50 and 2:20, and 10% otherwise.
