Ching is awesome, Rogers on Demand, and 23 other things

There’s a lot to blog about, as I said. Well, if you’re up for some story reading, go check out my LJ… I tried to write an entry in a story-sorta form, so go check it out for a very different blog entry. Well, I tried.

Anyway, I just spent a bit of today and yesterday trying to write this story of mine, so my blogspot post might be a bit more point form, since there is more to cover, unless I forget it all suddenly. So, in point form:

1. First, I’d like to proclaim my love for Ching :) – no, seriously, Ching’s awesome. As most of everyone who reads my blog knows, I went to the party in Guelph, and I met Christa, Kyle, Ching, Jess, Andrew, Aaron, etc. – which was totally awesome.

2. So that was a great party. Drinking was interesting, hangover was not. I would usually say it’s a new life experience, but in this case, I really don’t want to experience it again. At least I now know my limit. I will probably do some casual drinking now and then, but I don’t want to get drunk again.

3. MapQuest, you have made a powerful enemy. Damn you for getting us lost on the way to Guelph, in some scary town with street names not corresponding to each other.

4. I like sunbooka, and other lime tasty shots. Raspberry vodka was okay too.

5. Oh, if anyone enjoys my writing style on my LJ entry, please comment so. I always wondered if I should try to change my writing style or not.

6. I’m glad I stayed back when the rest of the crew left back for ‘sauga, because, first, I got to spend more time with Ching, Christa, David, etc, and… well, I kept Andrew’s car nice and clean :)

7. I wanted to check out Guelph before I left, since I’ve never been there, so… we went to the mall for lunch :P

8. With being hungover a bit, yet feeling a bit better, I was in the mood for a huge burger – think Mel’s Diner’s Elvis Burger – but the food court didn’t offer that, so I had some seafood fest from Manchu Wok. I probably would’ve preferred Christa’s honey-garlic chicken. Oh well. I’m a sucker for “new” products.

9. Went back home, cleaned the house. Well, I didn’t clean, so I felt bad about it, but the others cleaned. David was astonished to see the pull-out sofa in action. David enjoys cleaning now. I have to invite him over more often.

10. Christa’s dad drove us home. I was contemplating sitting in the front, but then I thought of David’s… open-talkative-nature, so it was a better idea to let him in front, and indeed, they had a good exchange on the way home.

11. Got to Meadowvale town center, after some convincing got David to come over. On the bus home, we saw these two girls, running for the bus. When they got in, David was able to spark a conversation with them, about how they were running, and they replied that they were glad to make it onto the bus.

12. I was astonished, because… I can’t just start a conversation like that. It was so easy… but I just can’t do it. I would feel silly.

13. It’s past midnight now, so it’s Duy’s birthday. Happy Birthday. He’s almost as old as me now.

14. So that ends the party stuff. In regards to Duy’s party (which some of you may have heard about), expect an e-mail in a few days about it.

So… what’s new…

15. The other day, I learned that I didn’t have to pay for Rogers on Demand, which was different than TMN on demand. I learned something. That’s cool. So expect me to write about /Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, /ReGenesis, and… some other stuff soon.

16. Saw movies at home, from dvds that look like they came from pacific mall. Kung Fu Hustle, again, which I saw from Ambrose. Saw “so close”, a movie starring Qi Shu, the girl from Transporter. She’s cute. I enjoyed the movie. Although, it was a Chinese movie, dubbed in German, subtitled in English…

17. Yesterday I went downstairs to seesaw. Pun worked? So I did. Saw Saw. Disturbing indeed.

18. Swiss Chalet is good. That was my graduation dinner. Tomorrow’s Duy’s birthday dinner. I wonder what that will be.

19. Rented Gauntlet Dark Legacy, since my sister really was in the mood to play it. Rented Custom Robo. Bought Outrun 2 from Rogers Video. Haven’t played it yet.

20. Exams… I hope they went okay. Went to a party after exams, that was fun. Brown people make brown jokes, Russell Peters style. About being cheap and taking credit from others. Good times.

21. Played poker for $2. 9Q suited-clubs, went all in post flop where it was 5-spades, Ace-clubs, 5-clubs. 8 of hearts on the turn, guy goes all in with 5-something. River comes up a club, other guy flips over J-K-clubs. GG.

22. Feels bad when you tell people that you’re leaving their party to go to another party.

23. I feel like making another blog, dedicated to anime/movies/videogames/TV reviews, trivia, random clips, rather than posting them here. We’ll see.

24. Thinking about taking extra-curricular lessons, from this… Mississauga – Inside and Out – brochure book catalog thing that my mom showed us today. Cartooning… sounds fun.

25. I think that’s all I want to write about. Although I’m sure I’m forgetting something. Anyway, I’m going to watch Initial D 4th stage, last two episodes now. Good night!
