Birthdays, Summaries, and Photo blogs

Hmm… do I feel like writing? Well, first of all, it’s been over a week, so a lot has happened, including my birthday, events leading up to it, and events caused by it that happened afterwards. So, if I do a regular update, there’ll be lots to read, and I doubt there is demand for having a lot to read.

And besides, most people who would read this journal would be / have been:
1) present at the events
2) maybe people who visit my LJ or my boards
3) David or Jia

So I got back into writing in my LJ, so I post small posts there every now and then. This page is to share more stuff, like downloadables or geeky videogame/anime kinda stuff.

So like, I could write a few paragraphs about going to karaoke, having shots of Sunbooka, trying to sing songs I barely know… I could write a page about my birthday dinner at Mongolian grill, with everyone that came, along with pictures (maybe I will actually do that)…. I could post updates on my winnings and losings of poker, and the status of World of Warcraft… I could post stuff about videogames and anime and what’s new and what’s not… I could do all that.

Not sure who would want to read it though. But anyway, so that paragraph summarizes what I’ve been doing, maybe if there are requests I could write about those… haha, I just thought of an idea… I could have a photoblog, not like topleftpixel, but instead of writing or those nifty LJ phone posts, I can try to take pictures to summarize what we’ve been doing. A picture is a thousand words, right?

Anyway, I guess I should post a song as always. It’s 320kbps or whatever, so it’s over twice as large as a regular mp3 file, and I don’t feel like converting it or whatever, so it’ll stay huge (12 megs for 5 minutes).

How to make David download it… oh, of course, the song reminds me of COWBOYS ;) Actually, after listening to it a few times, it reminds me of Cowboys, Indians, and some Mexican banjo players, near some rocks, at night (like 2:00 am), near a campfire. And they’re all having a good time, singing and dancing.

Alright, it’s not the best song on the Gankutsuou soundtrack, but it’s alright. Can’t put a distinct mood on the song, except what I said above.

I had cake on Saturday. I chose the cake. It wasn’t very good at all. But it was okay.

Hmm…. I think this blog update took longer than usual… but at least it’s more fun to read, this part below!
