Reading moment Moments
Okay, it’s 1:20 AM now. Long story short, we just had reading week, or in the case of us mathies, we had our reading moment. Anyways, I didn’t prepare beforehand for this blog update, nor was I planning to update now, so I’ll make it short.
So I shouldn’t really update much about what’s been happening the last few days – people who read this blog, such as Ambrose, Jia, and David, they already know enough about what’s been happening. To recap: On Saturday and Sunday before Reading week, David and Wen came up to visit Waterloo; we ate out a lot, hung out a lot, etc. Jia came up on Sunday with Ambrose, we had wings on Monday, we played lots of smash all around.
Reading week came up, we went home to Mississauga, and everyone got together; Jia, Rama, Ambrose, Ray, David, Alan, Jason, etcetera. All in all it was a fun time. Jia slept over, Ambrose visited the next day again. Family Feud was fun. SWORD!! (we should play more family feud dvd game later)
So, that’s a quick recap of the weekend. Our reading moment was too short, so all you complaining about going back to school… well… our break was still shorter than yours :P
The big thing nowadays at home is people getting copies of movies, and we borrowing them; so, we borrowed Ong-Bak from a coworker, I saw it today, it was alright. I wanted this to be a shorter entry, so I’ll post a bigger review for it later.
Oscars were alright, I saw some of it. I just saw Gankutsuou 15-16, and it’s getting… interesting. Actually, it got very interesting a while ago, and now it’s actually a bit hectic, and everything’s unraveling. While watching episode 15, I remembered thinking to myself how David would like this series, and yes, I think he will, if he can get a liking to the art style. It touches briefly on adulthood vs childhood, and David’s always blogging about how children have a certain inner value that people lose when they become adults, how children are innocent and they value creativity, while adults are about rules and money and whatever not.
It’s not exactly like that (AT ALL) in Gankutsuou, but there’s some innocence here and there in poor Albert… poor Albert…
Anyways, here’s a link from Cyn, or Cynthia Gould, one of my Livejournal friends, and this will be of interest to DAVID… CHRISTA… and other people. I like it. Basically, I think it’s a group of people that take pictures (in Toronto) and they post 1 picture per day.

I especially like this one:
