Bao's BLOG!!

Okay, it’s 2:35 pm on Wednesday. I don’t have classes for at least 36 hours, so I’m writing some of this now and some of this later, as Jason and Alan might be back soon and then we’ll play games. Anyway, this update is split into two parts, but not because the 2nd part is long, but because the 2nd part might require its own set of comments. Anyway, let’s say there’s no song of the day. Next song of the day will be No Doubt’s Don’t Speak, which is one of my favourite No Doubt songs. But I was thinking… should I expand into other “Things” of the day? Maybe a wallpaper of the day, or whatever. Anyway, for now, here’s a Commercial of the day! http://www.baomon.com/board/namacha.avi - 4.5 mb - It’s a Japanese commercial about a beverage. It’s 30 seconds long, and I can’t stop watching it! Okay, so it’s not thaaat good, but it’s pretty weird. But I like it. Makes me laugh. Anyway, if you want, I can post more commercials, or just give you the link to get them (no bittorrent required). Hmm… not sure what to write about the update. Had a get-together on Saturday, with Ray, Jia, Ambrose, Jason, and as expected, 9:00 pm (8:57 actually, I was a few minutes off), David shows up. The get-together involved pool, smash, smash melee, bbq, and magic. I thought David wanted to play Warioware? But we didn’t. We almost did, Jason suggested it, but we didn’t. Anyway… Prior to that, spent infinite money on magic cards. We’re officially addicted now, although for the next month I’m not spending anymore, until unhinged, and then again in February when Betrayers comes out. Bought new shoes! That’s about it. The one I wanted wasn’t there (in size 8.5), so bought some Nike’s instead. Good helpful, pretty employees at Sport Check :P ------ games Went to EB, wanted to buy Frozen Throne, but it wasn’t there (wasn’t at SQ1, wasn’t at EMTC). Also the new Leisure Suit Larry game is out, and I’m tempted to buy it. I missed LSL7, so I should get this… heehee. LSL6 was awesome though. Anyway, so I wanted to try buying Frozen Throne and LSL8 on Amazon.ca, but each was $5 more expensive than it was in EB, so I decided not to order it on Amazon.ca. I do have coupons for Amazon, but it’s not really a coupon if you’re paying the same price as you would at EB… Donkey Konga looks interesting. Penny Arcade says it’s really, a lot of fun, clapping with 4 people at the same time. It sounds silly, but it brings a feeling of joy. Anyway, it’s $60 for the game, $40 for each additional bongo (the game comes with a bongo), but I didn’t have the intention of buying it yet… but renting it will probably cost $10… Evil Genius… I don’t know anything about it, but I downloaded the demo a while ago, but haven’t played it yet, so I should do that soon. -0-------0-------- Movies The other day, was watching X2 on TMN, and it was kinda funny, during the scene where Magneto’s about to break out (because mystique stuck iron in that dude’s butt), Magneto was listening to a classical song, that my bro plays all the time… Mozart’s … Sonata… in C Major, or something. So I thought that was pretty funny. I’ll call it Magneto’s Sonata from now on… Saw House of Sand and Fog with family last weekend. Jennifer Conelly’s hot. She looks a bit like demi moore. Anyway, it’s a movie where everyone has a problem, and everyone becomes a bad guy. Okay, so it’s not supposed to be such a dark movie, but yes, everyone does have a problem, and in trying to solve it, they have to, or choose to, hurt others in the process. So it’s interesting, not bad. Not an action movie, more of a drama, not really suspense. The FRIDGE IS OUT! (spoken in the tone of Arnold Swarchzenegger,in True Lies, when he says THE BRIDGE IS OUT!) I said Alan should blog about he magic draft last update, but instead Jason did that, so this time, Alan can blog about this event. Which reminds me, while we temporarily fixed it, or permanently, however you look at it, we didn’t… totally fix it yet… Last but not least, last Friday, I bought Grave of the Fireflies for Wen on DVD, for his birthday. Which reminds me, the others still owe me money. Maybe I want to get this now too… of course, I’d buy it off amazon.ca, which is cheaper… but Grave of the Fireflies is a great movie. Oh yeah, in case you’re wondering, the mystery gift in the last update was Gradius V. Last2 but not least2, Psychology class has the best flies and best sneezes! I also had a few crazy PSYCH related dreams today, but… meh… I’ll go into detail into those for next update. So that I remember next time, here’s the outline of the dream. Dreams! Dreams about dreams, with milu, duy, our wardrobe part; Dreams about cleaning something, and then going back to home, eating stuff… ehh… Dreams about infiltrating enemy base, with spark tool, and then firing empty gun, and deal to kill, and drive with camcorder, and chicks on the way, and Lam and that guy and other people, and me complaining that I won’t make a good assassin; Make jokes, bullets and chess pieces Anyway, so that’s it. That wasn’t too long of an update, and now continue to read the next part of this update. It will help! HELP ME! DOOOO IT!
