Ken Jennings is a robot

Alright! So... not too much to blog about. Today's the magic tournament, so it'll be fun. Unfortunately, Andrew cancelled on us, and one of Mike's friends cancelled too, so then Mike had to call 2 extra friends to replace Andrew and the other guy who cancelled. So now, we have 8 people for the tournament;

50% of the tournament is Mike and his friends.
25% of the tournament is the DB's, or the Waterloo Bros, or whatever you call us.
And 25% of the tournament are members of the U-continuum.

Oh well, that's okay. I guess we'll be drafting and playing in teams, although myself, I rather not draft in teams - I draft by myself so it's more suprising. I'll just tell my partner what colours I'm playing so he won't ninja me out of cards if we're sitting next to each other. Deck construction I will do as a team though.

As for other news, Full Metal Alchemist 40 (which was subbed yesterday, kinda earlier than usual) was an awesome episode. Lots of new information, found out a lot about Scar and some other military news, and we finally get to see Rose again. Gluttony is cool. I like the way he talks.

Anyway, yesterday was the season finale for Jeopardy. For the next 6 weeks they'll be showing reruns and highlights of previous year's tournaments and stuff. Anyway, it was a pretty good Season Finale. The record for 1-day total of Jeopardy winnings were 52000, and Ken has tied it twice, never went over it. Well, there was this one time where he risked enough to reach like 60000, but he failed in final jeopardy so he didn't make it. Yesterday however, he did beat the record, with a 1-day total of $75000.

And now, he's won 38 times, and has a grand total of $1,321,660. That's quite a bit. Anyway, now he gets a 6-week vacation, and he'll be back again when school starts. Duy! You should update. It's been over 1 million dollars since you last updated. Anyway, Ken Jennings is my new hero. So what else does Ken have to do? Well, the record for consecutive showings on a game show (not just jeopardy) is 46 days, which he's pretty close to. I think he's passed the overall # of dollars someone has won on jeopardy (that includes those $1,000,000 tournaments), so he's doing quite well.

I think he's a robot.

Anyway, it's about 1:05 now, and the tournament starts in... I dunno, 60-150 minutes. Depends when everyone gets here. Jia and Choy are coming as well, so they can watch or they can find other ways to entertain themselves. Jia can beat megaman 1 for me. We finally beat the first 7 guys. Jia can also watch some FMA, and Choy can do that as well.

So that's it! See ya later!
