Jello Colada, Trivia answers, and Ben(CH)ing
Hello again. Short update today. 75 minutes till Conan, but this update should only take half an hour or so. I'm tired. (edit: I lied, it's not so short, but it's not too long)
Anyway, a few days ago I woke up and just decided to look through a bunch of back-up cds of things in the past, to see if I can just put it back on my computer (since I had more space) or to compile backup dvds so I don't need so many low quality cds. Plus, I can put dvdxrescue to good use.
Anyway, I found a bunch of old music files I was looking for, and some anime too so I can complete some anime dvds (I had mahoromatic 5-11 on my computer, so then I found 1-4, which was good...) . Anyway, one of the things that wouldn't copy to my computer before was Worms Armageddon, but this time it did copy, at least some of it, but not using dvdxrescue. Anyway, I can make teams and almost start a game, but I can't get into the actual game. Help? (Anyway, at least I got the sound files back... which I can use for... icq... if I still used it... anyway...)
Anyway, I remember a long time ago, Dharba would rave about a Masturbating bear on Conan. Anyway, the other day I finally saw it, so now I know what he was talking about. I taped a couple seconds of it, missed the start. Didn't know it was thaat bear... but then he did it... so yeah...
----------
On Tuesday, I was working with my aunt again, being her answering machine. Slow day, which was good, cuz I still get paid for it. During that time, I watched 2 episodes of CSI, and then I visited apple.com/trailers and watched new trailers. I Robot looks okay, AVP looks alright... I suppose Ray would be the AVP Ambassador around here. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Alien, and even less about Predator. So I'm not sure what to expect, but I'll probably wait for it to be obtained for me ^_^
Zatoichi looks... okay. Premise is nice, that's all I know. Collateral starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx... well, it probably is a good movie, but somehow I felt like, I was getting tired of that genre... action/suspense... Panic Room + Speed + stuff... I dunno...
I suppose I should watch Bourne Identity before Bourne Supremacy... Saw a trailer for "Danny Deckchair"... it looks okay. A movie like "Cellular"... well, actually, it's like Speed, but it actually looked pretty good for a regular movie. Then there was a movie called "The Last shot", with Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick, which has an interesting premise. Anyway, I won't review them here, you can watch the trailers yourself if you want.
--------------
Tuesday night, I taped the premiere of Outback Jack, and then I proceeded to watch the first episode of Sex and the City on TBS. Now, Sex and the City is not my type of show, but I can grow to like it. First, there's Kristin Davis, who I got to know on Conan, and she's pretty cute. So that's a good factor. Women = good.
The topic matter? Well... it's interesting. I would say it's David's kind of show. And by that, it's like a chick flick, with intellect. Not romantic per sé, but a nice conversational intellectual debate about sex, life, men, women, etc. I'd like to watch more episodes. And of course, I taped this too.
Today Jia and David came over. Saw 10 minutes of the Cowboy Bebop movie cuz it was on TMN, played melee, played Mao, that's about it. They had to leave early because it was my uncle's birthday, so we had a birthday dinner at Buffet King in... Warden... something... by that street... bao no know directions... but I drew Jia a pretty good map to find the bus stop... He got there okay...
Anyway, the meal at the restaurant was pretty good. So after commenting about all you can eat buffets on Jason's blog, I went to one. Had a pina colada to drink, didn't finish it, my sister then cut 3 pieces of yellow, red, green jello into hundred's of tiny pieces, then proceeded to put it in my colada. It tasted good. Thus, Jello Colada, like in the title.

The anime trivia was pretty easy. I made a 2sec, 3sec, 5sec, and 10sec version, so now here are the 2sec (again) and the new 3sec version, for better clues. It also sounds nice too.

Last but not least, the last part of my topic title: Ben(CH)ing. Bad way to put it, it's actually, Ching's Bench. I often refer to other people's blogs, and this time is no different. Anyway, Ching is leaving to Australia with Christa on the 28th, and anyway, she's been spending a lot of free-time lately painting artwork on a bench. Anyway, she recently posted pics of it, and it looks amazing. I just have to commend it. So I thought I'd give it honourable mention. You can visit her blog in my blog links.
Go check it out!
Anyway, it's 40 minutes to Conan now, so it took 35 minutes, along with talking with my friend Amy about course enrollment, talking with other friends, picking music to listen to, procrastinating... etc...
