d20 on saturday now

I had a weird dream this morning. I was going to type about it, but it's not so important, but it was weird indeed. Scream 4, the movie, but not quite - involves Selma Blair, the future, myself, aliens, bugs, and Mike Wazowski.

One thing I forgot to mention about John Woo's Paycheck: YES, there IS a dove in the movie. As expected from any John Woo production, except for his BMW Hostage short film.

Homestarrunner has new figurines! YAY! I don't have liquid funds right now to buy them, but I want them... hehe. Maybe I'll get them before the summer sale ends... I could use some new t-shirts...

I beat the first 6 regular worlds of Mario vs Donkey Kong. Man, was it tough... mario is incompetent. haha. The game pissed me off a few times, but oh well. Now 6 extra worlds opened up, much harder - also, if you beat a level and get certain # of points, you get a star, and with certain # of stars you unlock more expert levels. So I still have much unlocking and beating to do.

Anyway, Christa's party has been postponed because everyone was busy, much like how the last D20 game was postponed because many people couldn't make it. So an important point of this post is that, to accomodate more people and better time slots, this week's D20 game will be moved from Sunday back to Saturday. That way, Jason can come, and the game could go somewhat later than it could on Sunday. And so we decide now, the game will be held here again, rather than a new change of Ricky's place. Maybe next time.

So I'm expecting everyone to show up!! Except Ambrose, I think. It should be a good mission. Better than mission 1, not sure how it'll compare to mission 2. I really liked how mission 2 turned out. Anyway, Alan has to leave a bit earlier, around dinner time, so I'm hoping the game starts earlier. So come early!

Zelda 4 Swords should be coming out... now... so I'll be getting that. Well, we'll see when Futureshop sends it to me... We have 2 GBA's now, so we can play 2 player! Hopefully we can play that after Alan leaves...

---------

And here is a mission 2 recap. Ambrose and David should read this, so they can properly level up their characters. And it's been a long time, so some people can read this to refresh their memory - as well, it's been a long time, so I might've forgotten some stuff.

So at the end of mission 1, the group has just done some leisurely shopping. On the way back to the cars, the lingerie shop blew up, and squealing tires and engine sounds were heard from the distance. So the group (the roleplayers... I'll call them "the group") started chasing them, thinking that they were the bad guys responsible.

Turns out they were. They put up quite a chase... well, kinda. Anyway, the gang responsible for blowing up the shop was called the "Mask Gang." They wore silly cartoon masks, and their responsible for petty theft and a few larger operations. Through the chase, most of the bad guys died - some were involved in gun combat, another drove his motorcylce all-out into the back of a BMW M3 and flipped. The primary driver ran away safely, and one of the girls wiped out due to a shot from an unknown female sniper from a building. The identity of the female sniper is still not known to the group. The female mask gang member was questioned and brought back to Area 6 for healing and custody.

Back at Area 6, the group is approached by the main Doctor, who has lost an important scientific red gem stone. The Doctor asked the group to look for it.

From the Mask gang, the group recovered a briefcase belonging to a Mr. Howard Lederer. The group decided to try to crack into the case, and they successfully damaged the case enough to open it, to reveal an envelope full of money, marked to a "JPC", as well as some other papers, pens, pencils, and some pornography. The group did a research check on Howard Lederer and found out he requires music to remain calm. The group called Howard Lederer to arrange the recovery of the case.

The next day some of the group met with Lederer, but instead of giving him back the case (which is totally broken), the group insisted Lederer to come with them back to headquarters. Lederer was paranoid and he tried to flee. Upon leaving, he dropped a note written in Italian, written to Howard Lederer. The group picks it up, and they noticed a few keywords, such as "2:00 pm" and "Cafe L'Orange", so they start going there.

Meanwhile, Lederer is running away, and Duffman (Ray) continues to follow him and harasses him to try out some Duff Beer. Lederer climbs into a cab, and after some arguing Ray tasers the cab driver, causing a car crash. Lederer escapes and eventually Ray loses him.

At Cafe L'Orange, the group finds out that the meeting is actually scheduled for the next day. They take a look around, and they find out that there is live music at Cafe L'Orange. Since Lederer requires music to keep calm, the group signs up for the timeslot during the meeting.

So the meeting is the next day, where JPC (Jean Pierre Chardonnay) and Howard Lederer will meet, and the group suspects they're talking about the stone. The group will have people around the bar to try to listen in on the conversation, while some of the group will play live music to keep Lederer calm.

*Level up*
