Update 3 of 3 - Hawk for lunch

This is update 3 of 3. Last time I had a major long update, this time I have 3 *shorter* updates, which might be easier to read, or easier to comment on, or easier to section into pieces for clarity and pacing or whatnot.

Well, before I forget... well, we had lunch and dinner a few times lately. Twice at Pho 99 near Toys R Us, and tonight we ate at Sam Woo's at that plaza with No Frills and Blockbuster. First time at Pho 99 this week, I had grilled chicken, grilled porkchop and rice (like at VihnTin's) but this time also with steamed egg. Duy had the usual, chicken with fried and steamed egg. Twas a good meal, pretty cheap too. Also had an avocado shake.

2nd time at Pho 99, we all had hotpot. I had a mango shake. Then tonight at Sam Woo's, we had a bunch of stuff, like Duck, and Peking Duck, and Seafood nest thing, and Fish, and Black pepper beef, and some other stuff. Also went to No Frills and bought a bunch of good food.

So... I didn't go to Anime North, but I heard it was okay. Ching went, she looks pretty stylin' in her Gogo costume. My friend Amy went, I haven't seen any of her pics yet but I heard she had... fun I think... didn't ask Eric about it yet... maybe I'll ask him now... but he's not there... so..

Anyway, on Monday Isaque came over. We also had a BBQ that evening, but Isaque can't eat meat so he had a good time eating salad and an omelette. and Bread. We also watched some Daily show clips, but then they had advertisements now... about American Express and Jerry Seinfeld and Superman, so we went to the website, http://www.american.express.com/jerry/ And we watched 2 clips about Seinfeld and Superman, they were funny. At least, they were worth the time to watch.

Then Duy and Hawk started talking about so2w (after me keeping hawk to myself for 3dsmax related stuff), and then Hawk decided to continue the conversation back at his place, so we decided to sleep over at Hawk's. Jia came back from China around that time, so after this and that, Jia came over too. We got a fan! Thanks Jia!

Eventually, they started playing a game called Tales of Destiny II for playstation. I don't know how many of you have heard it, but it seems popular to Duy and hawk and Jia, but I've never heard of it. Anyway, it looks pretty good, and has a funky battle system. Although when they loaded a later file, the battles reminded me of Disgaea, where battles don't really hurt much and it's just some fighting and a lot of magic that pretty much gets rid of anything really quickly.

I went to bed at 3:00, not sure when the others went to bed. I woke up at 8:30, then back to bed and up again at 9:00, then up again at 9:20. They were still sleeping, so I watched Osaka walk around on Isaque's computer for 18 minutes, looked through Hawk's PS games for 20 minutes, played Smash for about half an hour, and then eventually woke them all up at 11.

Then we played Mahjong. It was fun. Over a few games, I won the most *money* (chips). Played Smash too. Did stuff. Umm... that pretty much ends this entry. Oh yeah, had a trainer session today, finally after the holiday. Lunges are hard. Anyway, we'll probably have friends over tomorrow, Hawk will play GX, and we'll do some more Settlers, and then I'll return back to regularly updating.

Melee tip of the day: If you're Samus, shoot a lot of missiles and drop a lot of bombs. Dropping bombs is actually fun, and could stun your opponents and try to keep them away from you. Also, don't use Kirby.
