May the Fifth be with you

!! There is sooo much I want to write about, yet I do not want to expend the time to do it right now. First, there's that awesome dream I had monday night, which was one of my best dreams of all time. It's also kinda private, so I was wondering if I should tell it or not, but then I thought, it has a reasonably good explanation so it's not aas private. The dream was about the two of the three girls that visit my blog the most ;) I know you're all curious now. I also had another pretty weird dream this morning and a short 'super metroid speed run' dream.... weird...

Let's talk TV, since that's relatively short and easy to write about. So I love CSI: Las Vegas, so I decide to give CSI Miami a chance, since my parents say it's the same kinda thing. So I saw 2 eps, and they were pretty good. I should get this boxset as well ;) First season comes out at the end of June, so I guess it's relatively new. I'll have to get used to the characters, but the main guy (Horatio) and that girl's kinda cool... Emily Procter's her real name...

But at the end of the 2nd episode, CSI Miami ninjaed me - it said "stay tuned for scenes from the next episode"... but then it didn't show them... :o(

Yesterday, saw what I think was the 2nd last episode of 24 this season. It's certainly an interesting show.

Saw Jeopardy yesterday. Alex Trebek made a comment that sounded a bit pedopheliacish... it was kid's week, so there are grade 6-7's on the show. So Alex started the show by saying something along the lines of "I know you best enjoy the time you spend with your kids, and for me, I best enjoy the time I spend with YOUR kids." That sounded kinda sick, so we laughed a bit at that, and then watched the show. I can actually answer a lot of these! Well, maybe not too much about the ones that deal with US stuff... but yeah.

Saw "Talking to Americans" with Rick Mercer a few weeks ago with Duy. It's pretty good, but I do see some flaws with the show.. some fallacies each party commits... thanks Philosophy 145... making me break down every piece of conversation into fallacies and mistakes...

American Idol, down to the final 5. I like Jasmine Trias - I think she's cute. Unfortunately, I think she'll be eliminated soon, since Simon and Randy made a perfectly clear distinction between (Jasmine and George) and (Letoya, Diana, and Fantasia) - saying that the 2nd group is in a different league. But anyway, I guess being in the final 5 already makes you famous, so even if they don't win, perhaps we'll see more of these people... I've never been amazingly interested in American Idol, but the show does have some awesome points.

Lastly - for the past 2 days, I've been my aunt's "answering machine", since she's been taking a course, so I had to watch over the phones by her computer for maybe 6 hours for the past 2 days. So, during that time, I worked on the d20 campaign, and as well, on Monday I saw American Wedding. It was pretty good... not enough hot girls like from the first 2. The bachelor party seemed a bit... not as cool as the other parties in the first 2. Other than that, it was pretty good. Seemed good. But I was wondering where Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, and her boyfriend were. I expected them to show up after __________ messed up real bad and needed help (with the flowers). But that didn't happen.

On Tuesday, I saw a movie my uncle had - Naked Weapon, starring... uhh, some people, and Maggie Q. I remembered Maggie Q cuz she seems like a cool person - pretty sexy too ;) . See random picture above. The movie itself was pretty good... some harsh, violent, evil scenes, and some sexy scenes too - but a lot of violence and emotions and crying. Nice use of slowdown and strings for acrobatic action sequences. And it was done well too, so it didn't look amazingly corny. Anyway, it was a good movie, and it was under 4.7 gigs - so I burnt a copy of it :)

Lastly, as it seems important, d20 game news. Ambrose has to leave around 6, Ricky won't be there until 5, and Wen won't be until around 2:00-2:30. I think the most logical thing to do is to Ninja Ricky, and have the game (mission 1) start around 3:30. We can take breaks in between and have Ricky join into mission 1 as it's going on (I can feasibly fit that into the mission). David hasn't officially made a character yet, so if we can meet him before the game to make the character, that would be good - if not, he'll just have to come around 1. If he comes late, then he'll be ninjaing himself - it's not our problem. Ray, Duy, Jason, Alan, and Ambrose are scheduled to come on time, so they will be experiencing mission 0.

Mission 0 will be to "look around the base and meet everyone else there". Hmm... any other questions? I have the story of Act 1 pretty much done, I have an idea for act 2 and act 3. I still need Ray's backstory, Jason's backstory, and Duy's backstory. Bring snacks, and bring money for pizza or whatever it is we're having for dinner.
