Wow. Last post was ... a title and a word, and then it receives 3 comments... well, mostly about my msn name and my new random picture. Monkeys playing Mahjong! It's even cooler than dogs playing poker! Is there anything cooler? I don't think so.
I had a dream a few days ago about poker, and Alan, and Christa! She was there too. Or at least, a representation of her. Anyway, it's been a while, so I don't remember what happened. Except that we were all pretty much cheating, by having too many cards in our hands and stuff. End of story.
I was going to post something about number theory, but now I'm deciding against it. So to make up for it, I'll post something related to Critical Thinking, cuz it was a pretty good course. So my award for best named fallacy, of course, goes to: Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc. If you can guess what that means, good for you. You get a gold star, but it's not as hard as it looks.
Jason's a ninja. Smash Brothers-wise. That ninja keeps taking my lives. So there was one time where he was Kirby and I was donkey kong, he had 1 life left, I had 2, and I was at 91%. So I kept watching Kirby, and then Link Star KO'ed him. So quick as I could, I committed suicide so he couldn't steal my life. *Pats Donkey Kong on the back*
Mel's Diner's Fruit Salad is pretty damn good. Jason had it twice recently, so I was in the mood for it the other day, and I had it. It was pretty good. Would be awesomer with chicken. Didn't care much for the lettuce underneath, and the raspberry vinegrette. It looks pretty easy to make a fruit salad, cuz I think they just take the fruit from a bucket, and then cut up a banana. But it's a good meal. Would be a superb meal if it was $1.00 cheaper.
I played poker on Monday, and then I did it again today. Unfortunately, I didn't offset my losses on Monday. I lost $6.75 today, which isn't too bad. If I lose less than $10 each time, then it's still good. Depends on how often I play. Today's loss is pretty acceptable... not to mention I made $6 on the last hand, so I'm happy with that. Andy lost $2, which is pretty good for his first official time playing.
Monday's game? Well... let's just say I lost >$20. I'll put that loss in another category...
Anyway, today's limits were pretty comfortable; 0.5-1.0-1.5-2.0. Nice and comfortable... the >$20 loss came from a 0.5-1-2-3 game which turned into a no-limit game for the last 45 minutes. No Limit hurts.
2nd Last but not least, Zelda 4 Swords comes out in June. After watching a few videos of it, it indeed looks like an interestingly fun game. I REALLY WANT IT. Unfortunately, like FF:CC, it requires you to spend "lots of cash" in order to play it multiplayer. I might consider buying another GBA-SP for Zelda 4 Swords. Maybe we'll get FF:CC then too.
Anyway, on the Gamefaqs boards, I found another solution to the GBA problem - it sounds interesting, yet amazingly expensive. Let's just say it involves 4 gamecubes, 4 TVs and 4 gba players ;) Indeed.
Hmm... this topic didn't go on as long as I thought it would've.. so I'll end it with a little... trivia sorta thing. They have these at wizards.com - they take snippets of magic cards, and you have to try to guess them. So here are 9 snippets of magic cards. Alan and Duy have already done this one, so now it's time for the rest of yous to try - I'm sure some of you can get some of them done. Anyway, tell me the answers via... msn or e-mail, I suppose... it won't be nice to spoil them here.
