Suntori Time
Today was... Sunday. Went to bed a bit after 4:00, as said in the entry before the previous one. Woke up a bit after 7, because I was cold. Tried to go back to bed, woke up at 9ish at what sounds like snow, hail, ice, and rain about to crash through our roof. Fortunately, our roof managed and we didn't drown or die or whatever. Went back to bed. By 10:30, the rain had stopped, and everything was fine.
Lunch at Fiasco's; Chicken Bowtie.
Dinner at Mel's; B-Bopdip - finally tried it after much wondering what it was. It was okay. Nothing really special. At least the amount was good. Also tried a "Mini Mel's", a single scoop of icecream with whipped cream and crumbled oreo and chocolate syrup. Twas good stuff, definately worth the 99 cents. It was decided that next time we go to Mel's, or one of the next time's, we'll try something new - like Crepes, or Waffles - and we'll partake in their appertizers and desserts.
Afterwards, we went to Blockbuster to rent movies/games - and after much discussion and compromises, we rented Lost in Translation and Matchstick Men.
We're watching Matchstick Men tomorrow. As for Lost in Translation, we watched it today (That's where the title, "Suntori Time," comes from). Bill Murray and Scarlet Johannson, alongside Giovanni Ribisi and Anna Faris and a bunch of other people, about an actor who gets sent to Japan to do some advertising, whilst not knowing the language... well... I'll write the review later. In an attempt for Alan to update his blog, Wen and I decided that he'll post his review of the movie first. So check out his blog, hopefully in the near future. I will post a review of Matchstick men though..
