Jody Perry
9:44. I went to bed shortly after 4:30, so I shouldn't even be awake right now. But the people next door are playing with hammers and walls, so... I can't really sleep. Plus, I feel that I shouldn't be sleeping, but it's still too early. Also, now I'm eating really really old food, which I don't think I should be. It even smells funny... so yeah. proceeding to throw it out... now... but it looks so good...
Alright, it's gone now, and I didn't have as much breakfast as I wanted. But oh well. I'm going to post about a really short dream I had this morning.
... whoa. I do this all the time. I think of the dream, and then I suddenly remember another part of the dream. But I don't actually remember much of that dream, so I'll just outline it:
Vu and I were walking around campus, because we were going to watch a movie or play monopoly or something. I had a monopoly board with me, but that's because I borrowed it from some place and haven't returned it yet. Apparently I'm walking all around campus with this monopoly board. Anyway, we see some VSA friends and we ask them if they want to join us for a movie, but they don't. Also, I think I was betting something against Vu... like poker, but not poker.
Eventually we get to some lounge and a theater, and Anojan, Gabriel, Seiji, etc are there already, so Vu and I sit down somewhere. I put my monopoly board down, because this is the room that I borrowed it from. So that's a good outline of that dream.
Okay, now for the other part of the dream. It's really short too.
So Andy and I were... standing... I think we were in a movie, but not part of the storyline; like, we're on the sidelines, talking about the movie, but not actually involved in it. So Andy was asking me questions like David would be asking me questions, about movies - or generally, about other stuff - poker-related questions. LIke "Why would he do that?" - things like that.
So the movie was this - there are a gang of space thieves, and they were all caught. So now their prison ship was to be transported, maybe to a higher security prison or something. So it was supposed to fly from 1 planet to another, but on the way it got hijacked by very evil badguys or something.
So the scene we were watching is the chaos that happens when they first get attacked by the bad guys - the thieves and other prisoners on the spaceship. I think we watched this scene over a few times, cuz I remember doing it, but I'll just detail the last time we saw it.
So Andy (David) asks something along the lines of "why would anyone have any sympathy for the characters?" (Because they're all thieves, and the thieves are being attacked - they deserve death because their thieves - right?)
So I proceed to tell him that the thieves aren't alll bad. Like how some of the thieves might be those followers, who just follow on the job because they're told - and some of them are regular people, who just steal. So this is how it went.
Matthew Perry came into view, and he was of course wearing an astronaut suit except for the helmet. Bruce Willis is there, and apparently Matthew Perry punched him and Bruce Willis was about to hit him back and saying that he can tank any counterattack. So I tell Andy that people probably feel for his character, because he looks kinda innocent - plus, he's on Friends. So I called this guy Jody, or Joey, I forget - and then Jody Hess was also there, he was also a thief.
Then, Matt Le Blanc showed up, and I remember him being in "Lost in Space". And yeah, he's also a friend's character. I don't remember his name.. Joey? Jody? Joey? Jody? And then after a while of thinking, I remember Matt Le Blanc's character as Joey, and Matthew Perry's character as Jody. I didn't actually think of the name Matt Le Blanc ever in my dream. And the words "Chandler Bing" SOO never showed up in my dream. He was just known as Jody. Jody Perry. Joey and Jody. From Friends.
Then I tried to guess Joey's last name. Cervantes? Bates? I dunno. I couldn't get it, and then my sister pops out of nowhere and says "Silly! It's Tribianni!" And then I say, "Oh yeah, Tribianni! Bates was someone else... oh yeah, Perry Bates!" - I don't know who Perry Bates is.
That pretty much wraps up what I remember from the dream.
