felt the need to update... stupid Ad-Aware...

Well, I was going to update later, but I'm fucking pissed right now, so I had to update. Well, actually I'm not fucking pissed anymore - I'm actually 100% calm now, but I was fucking pissed about 4 minutes ago. I usually get this angry when something really bad happens on my computer.

Pop-up ads. First, crazy shit happened when I went to Ambrose's blog - pop-up ads, and computer slow down. Task Manager says a couple of new exe files with random names were running now, so I closed them. Next, I opened a new Internet Explorer window, and something changed my home page from animesuki to this other page, which loaded 7 other Internet Explorer windows, all full-sized advertisement pages, some of which couldn't be closed except via Task Manager. So I changed my homepage back to animesuki and closed all other crappy browser windows via Task Manager.

So I may be committing the fallacy of "Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc" (the fallacy with the coolest name), but I would blame this all on the primary change to my system within the past few hours: Ad Aware. Fucking piece of shit software, which is supposed to remove spyware from my computer, ADDS spyware to my computer and fucking changes things around. So Fuck that. So I uninstall it right away and I'm never touching it again.

Well, now that the mood of this post is a bit... angry... well, I should probably start a new post and write happier thoughts, but whatever. I'll just write more to this post.

Had an Egg Benedict for *lunch* at Mel's Diner today. $5.99. The meal wasn't bad - it's like a breakfast meal - the egg was nicely done, hollandaise sauce is good, etc - but I don't think there was enough food for $5.99. So it was a good meal, yet rather expensive for the portion you get.

Went to Fiasco's for dinner, because Mel's was closed at dinner time. Had a burger. I like Mel's burgers better - Fiasco's wasn't bad - it's like a big homemade bbq burger, which is good, but something I'd rather not pay for too often. I'd rather just go to Fiasco's primarily for lunch and have their lunch portions of pasta. Surprisingly, I love the simple chicken bowtie - sounds so simple, yet I love the pesto sauce and bowtie pasta.

D20-wise, Ray found out and now he's interested in joining. So we'll see how it works out. He'll be a guy with wristblades and dart-rope-thingies and explosives.

So it shouldn't be too bad. Lotsa people, but since they're all guest-players, and some are leaving for several months here and there, it won't be too bad. I'll post more details about it later, at least some of the details I'll be willing to give away. Exam's tomorrow, so can't spend too much more time blogging. I'm 70% ready, so a bit more polishing on the concepts I know is required.

Last but not least, I've seen 4.5 new anime episode 1's within the past few days.

First, the 0.5: Hanaukyo Maids Verite. It's 90% like Hanaukyo Maids, so I'm not exactly sure what it is. I like Hanaukyo Maids, and this one is... well, pretty much the same. Graphical upgrades (not necesarily better, but yeah) - so yeah. I think it was tooo similar to the first one, so Animesuki took off the link pretty much as soon as it was available.
MadLax - female version of James Bond - well, not james bond, cuz there're no fancy gadgets - but it's a stylish anime. Uses guns, pretty omni, sometimes shoots with her eyes closed... it's an okay anime. I'll download more episodes of it later for sure.
Ragnarok - based on the game, which is based on the manga. Not bad, not amazing. But silly references to things that actually happen in videogames makes it funny and interesting. I'll download more to see how it progresses.
Bakerutsu Tenshi - Mechs and people with guns. Pretty stylish, interesting use of CG. Story's a little low right now, but I guess it's mostly about the action. One of the characters reminds us of Yuna, another reminds us of a combination between Selphie and Irvine ^_^... so that's kinda neat.
Lastly, Midori No Hibi - The story about a guy who suddenly has a girl as his right hand. Looks fun. I wanna see how this unfolds. Animation's pretty good too.

It's 12:45 now. Gonna head to bed in 30 minutes, wake up around 9:30, study for 2 hours if necessary, and then exam at 2. Exam over at 5, meet people for dinner, then start studying on PM 340, Number Theory. It's gonna be hard.

Anyway... I really can't wait for summer. So much planned. I think i said all this already. Or I said it in an e-mail. But I forget. SO much planned. D20 games. Anime North. Parties. and I want to have some anime-a-thons as well.

If Wen's gonna see the Bride Kill Bill on Friday, then I'll come too. Sat through the first one, and now with the hype and the story moving forward, as mentioned on Wen's blog, I'll see the 2nd one as well. Actually, I don't see any hype :P But I need conclusions. And it's interesting now, knowing that Bill tells Budd that he should be scared now... gonna be interesting... and if Gogo makes a comeback appearance in a flashback... I wanna see that too ^_^
