Feeling BeJJer AbouJ being Stuck on You + Dreams

Alright... the burner's pretty good - no problems, yet. However, I do need better software. Compared to Roxio's easy cd creator, this one can't do as much stuff... let's compare, shall we?

With Roxio Easy CD Creator, your dvd title can be of certain max length, be any A-Z/0-9 character, plus spaces, hyphens, underscores, etc. The user interface tells you how much space you have used, and how much you have left on your dvd. Lastly, you can drag files and folders onto the dvd space, and then modify the folders - delete files in the folders you want on the dvd, without modifying the folders on the computer. You can also create folders, etc, all that.

Now... this dvd drive came with "B's Recorder Gold 7". Your dvd title can be of certain max length, be any UPPERCASE A-Z/0-9 character, plus underscores. The user interface tells you how much space you have used. Lastly, you can drag files and folders onto the dvd space. You can delete files you don't want on the dvd, and you can delete folders; you can't rename them, create folders, and of course... you can't modify folders. So, if you want a certain folder, say, "Metroid", which has 90 metroid files and 10 random files, you're gonna have to go through explorer, cut those files out of the folder, then you can input the metroid folder into the dvd, burn the dvd, and then cut those files back into the folder afterwards. Such crap.

Anyway, moving on. Duy's computer had network problems in Waterloo, where-as he can access our files and we can access his, but Halo won't work multiplayer. Anyway, now that's fixed, and that's fun. Gotta get UT2K4 now... but Halo's pretty cool. Although would be much better with more players... now where did I put that cd...

Ambrose already covered Halo vs Starcraft, so I'm done.

Defragged my computer yesterday. Usually defragging takes somewhere between 30-120 minutes, and from my computer, I thought it would take 400 minutes this time... well, it was at 1% for 55 minutes, and then added 27%, then added 26% at 80 minutes. (I wasn't watching the whole time, but I was still in the house). at 90 minutes it reaches 93%, 100 minutes reaches 97%, so it was done at about 120 minutes then (cuz I had to leave before it was done). Wasn't that interesting?

Anyway, this summer (just like all previous summers), my parents want us to get in shape. So, this summer, we signed up for a fitness club, the Premiere fitness club which just opened a month ago. It looks pretty good. And, since it's so new, there are very few people, so it feels more... private. It's a nicer feeling than at YMCA which is jampacked with so many people, and all the machines are being used, and when you get to a machine that's unused, you can only use it for a little bit of time before you start feeling guilty for hogging the machine to yourself.

So it'll be cool. And since it's a small company right now, my sister has already met some people there, including some friends from highschool. How come I never see friends from highschool around? Anyway, this should be fun. If anyone wants to tag along, we got a few free weekly passes. Anyway, one of their slogans is "Feel Better about yourself", and it was all capitalized and in those fancy letters, so it looked like "Feel BeJJer abouJ yourself", which is where my title comes from.

Now, my daily rant about spyware, and maybe viruses and anything else that happens wrong with my computer. First, with all these new codecs, Adobe Premiere is having trouble opening files, and it sucks poo. But more importantly, comes my Notepad/Internet explorer issue. That is, for editing my own webpages, I would always open the file in internet explorer, view source, make changes, and save. Now, something has gotten hold of my computer, I think, because I can't do that anymore.

That is, I open a local html file (say, C:\baomon\index.html) in Internet Explorer, right click, View source, make a change, then either Save or Save As. Now, Save As no longer defaultly points to C:\baomon\index.html , but instead, it's a C__baomon_index[1].txt located in My Documents. So... that makes it extremely annoying to edit webpages locally, so I really need that changed. Can someone help me out?

Now, another rant that I brought up before. Let's say, I go to http://www.24359tjgah8.com . I would like to see that "page cannot be displayed" box... but nooo... I get either incredifind.com or search.lycos.com, which present similar matches to what I was looking for. That pisses me off. Can someone fix that for me too?

So... I've been running Ad-aware a lot... A LOT... lately. Just curiousity, I guess. What does it mean when you run Ad-aware, find say, 6 things, remove them, and then 5 seconds after you run ad-aware again and it finds 1 thing?

Saw "Stuck on you" yesterday, with Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear and other people. I'll give it a B+ - so it's pretty good. It's a touching story, and it has a few "hehe" moments, and a couple "hahahaha LOL" moments. So that's always good. It's not stupid funny, so that's good too. So I liked it.

I still have to talk about 2 casino dreams, and a d20 dream and a mike jones dream. I'll probably ignore the casino dreams, so maybe I'll mention a dream now since I'm not doing much else. Well, Duy is wondering about the mike jones dream, so I'll talk about it now. Of course, I forgot a few details, so I'll improvise.

So, Duy was having a party. Of course, we were in a different "our" house - it was a very beautiful, carpeted penthouse kinda place, with white couches and white chairs everywhere. The only thing better would've been a black piano on the left. Anyway, so Duy invites Mike Jones, or as I call him, Mike Shinobi. So we open the door, and Mike Shinobi comes in with a sleeping bag and a paint brush. Apparently, Mike Jones has invited some of his friends - some big guys with mohawks, and some regular other people, but they all looked like they were in motorcycle gangs. They looked pretty scary. Anyway, they all brought sleeping bags and paint brushes, and some brought paint.

Meanwhile, my parents (and maybe myself too, although I saw this happening) were at a Pagoda. So back at our place, there was now multicoloured paint all over the house - little bits on the white carpet, little bits on the couches, chairs, everywhere. So I think Duy was gonna get in a lot of trouble...

Anyway, parents were coming back to the home now, but it turns out my uncle comes and takes some turquoise paint, and paints the entire house - the carpet, the couches, everything, to cover up all the other paint that Mike Shinobi's friends put on - so Duy doesn't get in trouble. So everyone comes home and everything is fine, because everything is turquoise.

So Duy doesn't get in trouble, and I think that's all.

So that wasn't so hard.

I'm on a roll. Let's Dream about the d20 dream. Wish I could remember it all. So we were in an apartment, and all of a sudden I get the power of "The Mask" - ya know, Jim Carrey's The Mask. So my first thought was I would engulf the whole earth and pretty much crush everyone. But then I decided against it.

:( I don't actually remember what happened. Well, I do remember some, so I'll tell that part. We were in a building, made of bricks... I think... anyway, since I'm the GM of the term, I decided something that would give the good guys a major advantage... so then the Russian boss comes up to me, and tells me that this is unfair. (Apparently the Russians are the bad guys). So I tell Wen that the Russians think this is really unfair (since I'm new to GM'ing, I think I may need advice from other people). But, unfortunately, since I'm the GM, I can't accept advice from Wen... or something.

So while the good guys have this advantage, I stay over with the Russians, and they call the good guys or something, and I tell the Russian boss to tell me the coversation they had with the good guys so I can plan something mischeviously. I also ask the Russians to tap the phone of the good guys, so they can get information from the good guys.

Alright, this dream was definately longer, I just don't remember what happened. So that's it for now.
