Viewtiful Joe (vj) has been replaced by You (u).
Alright, just an update, about a bunch of little things. One paragraph per idea. Ignore the title.
So yesterday I installed the drum2net program, which is like stepmania (a program that lets you make your own DDR or Pump it Up dancesteps), but drum2net let's you make drummania steps and play them. It's not too good, feels a lot less structured than the real thing, and it's hard. Plus, I have to use a keyboard, so it's not so great. But the site gives me good access to a bunch of real drummmania songs, so it's easier to download them now :) *listens to Robinson, main song of Drummania 7*
For lunch, I had a Tier 4 dinner. That's right, Tier 4. Tier 4 Frozen Dinner - Swanson Hungry man dinner, with green beans, mashed potatoes, a brownie, and a chicken breast and a rib-shaped patty covered in barbecue sauce, + I added 2 slices of bread. Yummy! It was really awesome, but it was a pretty hefty price tag at $4.69. But oh yeah, it's soo good.
It's finally happened. I've gotten used to the Jubei Chan 2 theme song, and I quite like it now. I'm done episode 7, and damn, it was a great episode. Lots of stuff happening now, with conflicts and emotions. If you liked the first series, I highly recommend this one as well. It's somewhat more emotional than the first series, but Shiro is much less serious in this one, and more like a comedy-relief character.
Speaking of good episodes, Sailor Moon Live 22, which I saw yesterday, was pretty good too. It was interesting, and emotional again, etc... story hasn't progressed too much further though, as the sailor moon series' seem to have self-contained episodes for the most part. But oh well. Still a good episode and a good series ^_^
And continuing on, comes Full Metal Alchemist episode 23. Damn, that was a really good episode. Actually, the last 3 episodes or so were really great. And I'm loving all the characters... haven't seen an anime with so many characters who are all so awesome in their own way, for a while (maybe Gunslinger Girl is an exception). FMA will easily enter into my top 5 list of favourite animes.
Been watching more "speed-runs" - like, videotaped videogames, of people beating a game in the fastest method way possible, while maybe with another quest like "getting 100%" items. I find them rather interesting... the Metroid Prime 1:37 100% was amazing, Super Mario 3 in 11 minutes, while not 100% authentic, was pretty impressive. Mario 1 in <5:30 SMW in <13, Mario 2 < 13 minutes, Legend of Zelda 1 without the sword, etc... Megaman 2, Megaman 1 - all great, fun to watch (except the SMW one). It's also nice getting the nostalgia feel of seeing these games, hence the party we had the other day.
(2nd paragraph, same subject) - So recently I saw a Super Metroid 100% 1:00 run, and a Link to the Past 1:51 not 100% run, they were cool. Currently in the half-progress of downloading the 5:52 Ocarina of Time run...
Today another webcomic was supposed to come out, but (excuses, excuses) this morning I was kinda doing an assignment, and watching FMA 23 and all that, so I didn't have time. I have time now, but I'm blogging instead - and tonight I shall continue working on an assignment, so I'm not sure if I'll have another webcomic coming out today. I do have 2 ideas ready (both somewhat fictional) for today's and thursday's comic, but school work might hinder my progress to bring out the comics in time.
In a few weeks, I'll probably make my webcomic public, make a site for it, with commentary for each comic, and everything else a good webcomic would have. However, there is one primary issue, and that's content (2nd issue might be awareness, but word of mouth is the best way to take care of that). So the content currently is exclusive to us, what is happening to us, ideas, fictional ideas, things that happen in Waterloo and funny jokes among us. In other words, the comics make sense to us (the readers of this blog) and it's funny for us. (Okay, this topic may be more than 1 paragraph).
So if this comic were to gain web popularity status among the ranks of Penny Arcade, VG Cats, Real Life, etc., the content may have to change. Penny Arcade and etc. are mostly about video games, and since people relate to video games, their comic is popular - my comic cannot reach such popularity if nobody understands the stuff I talk about in my comics. Maybe I should make a comic about anime, or video games, or media in general - the stuff that happens to us is too specific.
So what do you think? This might be "selling-out", as in, I might not be staying true to myself, doing something for popularity rather than something I want to do - so I may not want to go change my methods yet. Plus, if I devote myself to a single such topic (say videogames or anime), then it would be harder to come up with ideas, and the comics will have to come out at most once a week rather than twice a week.
Anyway, moving on... I have class in 30 minutes... not sure what we're watching today.. 3:06. Soon time for class. Bye!
