Old Games Party!
Okay - So my birthday is this Friday, and I want to have a party on the Saturday. In 'Sauga, cuz there are more people there... and stuff. So the party will be on Saturday, and if possible, I want to make it a 2-day event. The thing is, that RPG's are single player, so if it's a 2-day party, those who spend the night can play RPGs during the night, and I do like the idea of having RPGs.
It's not just video games, but it's primarily video games, although I'd enjoy some OLD non-video games as well, like Monopoly. and Clue. and HEARTS. ^_^ And we can watch an old movie or something.
But the main part is the video games. I want to play OLD games. Very old games, dating back to SNES and NES days. The hardest part will be obtaining the games... and I would prefer to play them on the NES and SNES, rather than emulator. But if we have no choice, we'll do some of the games on Emulator.
- So, this is how I WANT IT TO BE, at this point in time:
- Ambrose brings a famicom over, or if Jia can come, he'll also bring a NES.
- There will be a computer, and lots of people bring controllers - must play games via Controller.
- We have a SNES. Although more controllers would be nice.
- If possible, Ray comes and he brings FF IV and FF VI. I really want those games here!!
- I want Mega Man 2. 3 is okay, 2 is so much more... whee...
- Double Dragon 2.
- Jia wants Super Ninja Boys or something.
- We should play old arcade games via emulator, like that x-men game and multiplayer TMNT2.
etc. etc... still a lot of planning and details required, but it would be cool to pull it off. Worse comes to worse, we'll at least still have Super Bomberman to play, and Mario World, and emulators, etc. etc...
throw ideas at me.
