.Hack
First of all, the title - .Hack - nothing to do with the game or the anime, but just about hacking. Kinda. So Duy downloads this magic the gathering card maker, which is like a template and you can easily add text and mana symbols to it. Unfortunately, it's just the demo, which limits you to making green cards, so Duy needs the whole thing to work on his Arthurian Legends project. So Duy and Alan are about to get me to fork over $10 US on paypal, but first...
I have to try to get the full version in some other means. Search for it on google? No luck - Fraps (another program) had a full version easily downloadable from some site, within a few minutes of searching by google... but this one was a bit harder to find. Or was it?
Looked around computer for a way to hack it.. nope - but then the exe file... oh yeah, it stated on the website it was a VB-made program... so I check the exe file (through notepad), and there are all the keys required to unlock all the functionalities. There were about 80 different keys (cd-keys, like, 20 digit numbers) and 100 user names that correspond to that... so worst case scenario, we had to check 80 cdkeys. Luckily, we only tried a few and then a message popped up: "thank you for purchasing the full version."

So, congratulate us on our victory ;) I was gonna post 2 topics in this entry, but it seems that when I write too many topics in an e-mail or a blog or whatever, usually something gets ignored and never replied onto. So yeah. Time to write another entry.. which will be a big entry (cuz it has pictures), so maybe this one will go unnoticed...
